A Study On Drugs Regularity Of Professor Wu Mianhua’s Treating Radiation Damage Of Esophageal Carcinoma Based On Date Mining

Objective:Adopting the method of retrospective research,data mining technology was used to summarize Professor Wu Mianhua’s core prescription and medicine regularity in the treatment of radiation damage of esophageal carcinoma,in order to demonstrate the superiority of TCM in the treatment of radiation damage of esophageal carcinoma.Methods:The research collected esophageal carcinoma patients during or after radiotherapy who Professor Wu Mianhua had treated in the outpatient department or inpatient ward of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine from Sep.2016 to Sep.2019.A database which was set up consisted of 84 eligible patients with a total of 170 visits.Excel software and Medcase V3.2 Data Mining System were used to mine data,which adopted statistical methods of frequency analysis,clustering analysis,association rule.According to the results,medicine regularity of Professor Wu Mianhua in the treatment of radiation damage of esophageal carcinoma should be discussed.Results:1.In the 170 prescriptions of 84 patients,the top ten quantities of clinical symptom are eating obstruction、dry mouth、poor appetite、insomnia、pain of swallowing、cough、white sputum、dry stool、sore throat and fatigue.2.The database statistics totally 132 Chinese Medicine.The top ten quantities of Chinese Medicine are Radix Pseudostellariae、Poria、White Atractylodes Rhizome、Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata、Radix Ophiopogonis、Radices Trichosanthis、Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae、Oldenlandia Diffusa、Cortex Albiziae and Sculellaria Barbata.3.According to the efficacy of Chinese Medicine,the top three are Qi-tonifying drugs(633 times)、Heat-clearing drugs(614 times)and Yin-tonifying drugs(355 times).4.Three pairs of drugs which are worth discussing have been obtained,by means of association rule analysis and combined with relevant professional knowledge.5.With the method of K-means clustering analysis,Six groups of major formula have been obtained.Conclusion:Through data mining and inductive analysis of 170 prescriptions of TCM,the fundamental treatment principle of Professor Wu Mianhua in the treatment of radiation damage of esophageal carcinoma,which is supplementing qi and nourishing yin,cooling blood and dispersing blood stasis,has been summed up.The principle is supplemented by resisting cancer and removing toxin,invigorating spleen and kidney,etc.,and should be flexible because of different patients and clinical symptoms.
