Object:(1)In order to understand the positive rate of personality disorder(PD)tendency in patients with depression.(2)To investigate the effects of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),nerve growth factor(NGF),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)on PD tendency in depressive disorders.(3)In order to explore the effects of childhood trauma and trait coping style on patients with PD tendency group, and to provide the basis for preventing the occurrence of personality disorder traits.Methods:(1)Depressive patients in this case-control study were enrolled in grade?A hospital in Nanning City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from May 2018 to December 2018.A total of 69 aged 18-60 years depressive patients was invited to this study.69 healthy controls aged 18-60 years were selected in the Health Examination Center of the hospital.(2)All cases and healthy subjects were assessed for clinical symptoms and questionnaire investigation, including the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD24)and the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA14),Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ),Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ)and Personality Disorder Diagnostic Questionnaire(PDQ-4+).(3)Fasting blood samples were collected in the morning. The levels of VEGF,NGF and BDNF were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).(4)SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Independent sample t test,one-way ANOVA test,non-parametric test or chi-square test were used to compare the differences among the group.Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between the related factors and the severity of personality disorder(PD)tendency.Results:(1)The positive rate of PD tendency in patients with depression was 53.6%.(2)The incidences of childhood trauma in PD tendency group and non-PD tendency group were above 70.0%,which were higher than healthy control group(P<0.05);Among the five types of childhood trauma, the incidence of physical neglect was the highest in the three group, and there were significant differences among the other four types of childhood trauma except emotional neglect(P<0.05);The incidence of "greater than or equal to three types childhood trauma" in d PD group was higher than that in other two group(P<0.05).(3)PD tendency group used less positive coping style and more negative coping style than the other two group(P<0.05).(4)The plasma BDNF and NGF level in PD tendency group were significantly higher than healthy control group(P<0.05);the plasma BDNF level in the no PD tendency group was higher than healthy control group(P<0.05).(5)Significant positive correlations were observed among emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse,CTQ total score, the total scores of negative coping style and HAMD24 total scores and PDQ-4+total scores(P<0.05).Moreover,the total scores of positive coping style was negative correlations with HAMD24 total scores and PDQ-4+total score(P<0.05).Hierarchical regression analysis with PDQ-4+total scores as dependent variable showed that plasma BDNF level(?=0.192),HAMD24 total scores(?=0.836),and total scores of sexual abuses(?=0.132)were positively predicted PD tendency(P<0.05),and plasma NGF level(?=-0.162)were negatively predicted PD tendency(P<0.05),after controlling gender, age, education, income and situation of left behind children.(6)Hierarchical regression analysis with HAMD24 total score as dependent variable showed that plasma BDNF level(?=0.114),PDQ-4+total scores(?=0.543),and total scores of emotional abuse(?=0.209)were positively predicted depression(P<0.05),and the score of positive coping style(?=-0.201)were negatively predicted depression(P<0.05),after controlling gender, age, education, income and situation of left behind children.Conclusions:(1)Depressive patients with PD tendency have a high rate of multiple childhood trauma.(2)PD tendency group took more negative coping style.(3)PD tendency in depressive patients may be accompanied by the increase of plasma BDNF and NGF level. Thus,a dysfunction of neurotrophic factors may be another factor of neurological dysfunction in depressive patients...
