| Objectives:In this study, the patients with lower limb pain of lumbar disc herniation were selected as observation objects to study the effect of electroacupuncture at the proximal end on lower extremity pain of lumbar disc herniation.Comparison of proximal electroacupuncture therapy and distal electroacupuncture therapy, the short-term and long-term effects of the two treatments on lower extremity pain of lumbar disc herniation were analyzed and compared. The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical effect of proximal distal point electroacupuncture in the treatment of lower extremity pain of lumbar disc herniation and to provide some help for clinical selection of electroacupuncture treatment site.Methods:72 patients with lower extremity pain who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group by coin toss method, each group 36 cases. The treatment group received proximal electroacupuncture, and the control group received distal electroacupuncture.Three groups of acupoints therapies were conducted in both groups, and the dilatational wave with frequency of 2/100 Hz was selected for 30 minutes,The two kinds of electroacupuncture therapy once a day,5 times a week, after 5times have 2 days’ rest,a total of 10 treatments. In this study,Visual analogue pain scores(Visual Analogue Scale VAS)and lumbar spine JOA observations(Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores JOA)were evaluated before treatment,10 times after treatment and 1month after follow-up.we used SPSS 26.0 software for statistical analysis and made a curative effect evaluation.Results:1.baseline comparison, there were no significant differences in sex ratio, age, course of admission between the two groups of patients(P> 0.05),which are comparable;Beforetreatment, the VAS pain score and Observation indicators of the lumbar JOA score of the two groups of patients were compared before treatment, and there was no significant difference in statistically(P> 0.05);2.After treatment, the two groups of patients were compared with the VAS pain score and Observation indicators of the lumbar JOA score within the group, and found that there were significant differences(P <0.05),and the both treatment methods were all effective. When reserchers compared in the VAS pain score and Observation indicators of the lumbar JOA score of the two groups of patients(P <0.05),the treatment group clinical effect was better than the control group;3.Follow-up comparison after 1 month, the VAS pain score and the Observation indicators of the lumbar JOA score were compared between the two groups(P <0.05),and there was a statistical difference between the two groups and the long-term curative effect of the treatment group was better; Conclusion:Proximal electroacupuncture and distal electroacupuncture have definite effect in improving the symptoms and signs of lower extremity pain of lumbar disc herniation and relieving pain, but the effect of proximal electroacupuncture is better than that of distal electroacupuncture. |
