Objective: To discuss the correlation between serum uric acid levels and Gensini scores in patients with acute coronary syndrome, and to reflect the relationship between serum uric acid level and severity of coronary artery disease. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to collect the clinical data of 527 patients with acute coronary syndrome diagnosed in the heart center of the first affiliated hospital of XinJiang Medical University from January 2015 to December 2018 and the healthy physical examination people of 276 cases during the same period, including: age, gender, nationality, history of smoking, history of hypertension, history of type 2 diabetes mellitus, family history of coronary heart disease, serum uric acid, serum creatinine, triglyceride, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol and coronary angiography.Body mass index and the Gensini score were calculated by formula, and to conduct statistical analysis. Results: The serum uric acid level of the acute coronary syndrome group(315.60±83.74umol/L)was significantly different(t=9.992,P<0.05)from that of the healthy physical examination group(260.11±53.48umol/L).Patients with acute coronary syndrome with different uric acid levels in the four groups were not identical in Gensini scores(F=19.840,P<0.05),and the correlation analysis showed that the serum uric acid level of patients with acute coronary syndrome group was positively correlated with Gensini score(r=0.280,P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that serum uric acid was an independent risk factor for acute coronary syndrome.Serum uric acid has high value in the diagnosis of the specificity and sensitivity of acute coronary syndrome. Conclusion: In patients with acute coronary syndrome, serum uric acid at different levels is positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease.
