Objective:To investigate the correlation between the changes of helper T lymphocytes(Th)1 cytokines(INF-?2,IFN-?,TNF-?,IL-18)and helper T lymphocytes(Th)2 cytokines(IL-1??MCP-1?IL-6?IL-8?IL-10?IL-12p70?IL-17A?IL-23?IL-33)in patients with chronic hepatitis B before and after treatment with Peg IFN?-2b,in order to find a predictor of the efficacy of interferon.Methods:Choose in October2017-October 2018 in the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University adult 58 patients with chronic hepatitis B infection department outpatient service,giving the Peg IFN ?-2b 180 ug,subcutaneous injection once a week,48 weeks,except5 cases dropout researchers,to achieve clinical cure group(R)in 11 cases,for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B clinical cure(NR)in 42 cases,and elected to the healthy controls(HC)20 cases,CBA technique was used to detect the cytokine levels atbaseline,12 weeks,24 weeks,36 weeks and 48 weeks.Results: HBsAg clearance rate was 20.75% in patients with chronic hepatitis B after 48 weeks of interferon t herapy,and Th1 cytokines(IFN-?2?IFN-??TNF-??IL-18)were all lower than those in healthy controls(P=0.004;P=0.009;P=0.012;P=0.039);Th2 cytokines(IL-1??M CP-1?IL-6?IL-8?IL-10?IL-12p70?IL-17A?IL-23 and IL-33)were all higher than those in the healthy controls(all P<0.001),However,there were differences between the two types of cytokines in R and NR groups,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the R group,the level of Th1 cytokine IL-18 increased significantly at 36 weeks after treatment(P=0.001),and decreased at 48 weeks after treatment(P=0.01),while no such change was observed in the NR group.In the NR group,the level of Th1 cytokine IFN-?2 significantly increased at 24 w-eeks compared with that before treatment(P=0.03),decreased at 48 weeks compared with that before treatment(P=0.000),and the level of TNF-? decreased at 36 weeks compared with that before treatment(P=0.037).However,thelevel of Th1 cytokines IFN-? in R and NR groups increased at 36 weeks after treatment compared with that before treatment,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P=0.149).In the R group,the levels of Th2 cytokines IL-1??IL-6?IL-8?IL-10?IL-12p70?IL-17A?IL-23?IL-33 all decreased at 48 weeks after treatment(P=0.000;P=0.009;P=0.002;P=0.000;P=0.000;P=0.000;P=0.001;P=0.002),but there was no such phenomenon in the NR group.Th2 cytokine MCP-1 may not be related to the efficacy of interferon.Conclusion:There is an imbalance of cytokines in CHB patients.After treatment with interferon,Th1 cytokinesare increased an Th2 cytokines are decreased,which may be beneficial to the clearance of HBsAg and the c-linical cure of CHB patients.
