Objective:To observe the effect of Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy on the survival time of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer, and to explore the relevant factors affecting the survival time of patients with colorectal cancer. Methods:From January 2012 to December 2017,the medical records of 161 patients with stage ? colorectal cancer treated by Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy and 221 patients with stage ? colorectal cancer treated by simple chemotherapy were collected retrospectively, and the information of survival time was followed up.Analysis of survival time using Kaplan-Meier method to draw survival curve to explore the effect of Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy on survival time of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer.Single factor and inter-group comparison were analyzed by Log-rank analysis, and multi-factor analysis by COX risk ratio model to explore the relevant factors affecting the survival time of colorectal cancer patients.Results:1.A total of 382 patients were collected, including 354 deaths and 28 missing visits, with a deletion rate of 7.3%.2.Mean survival time of Traditional Chinese Medicine was 28.3 months,95% confidence interval(27.0-29.5)months,median survival was 29 months,95% confidence interval(27.7-30.2)months,average survival time of colorectal cancer treated by simple chemotherapy was 2 2.0 months,95% confidence interval(21.1-2 2.9)months,median survival was 22 months,95% confidence interval(21.0-2 2.9)months;Log-rank analysis P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Different sex, age, tumor site, high, medium, unknown degree of differentiation, adenocarcinoma, liver metastasis, lung metastasis, the number of metastatic sites, the number of chemotherapy times these aspects,Chinese medicine combined chemotherapy group can prolong survival, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in low differentiation and non-adenocarcinoma(P>0.05).3.Univariate analysis:TCM treatment, age group, degree of differentiation, pathological nature, liver metastasis, the number of metastasis, the number of chemotherapy, the cumulative time of TCM treatment, these factors P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in tumor location, beginning time of TCM treatment, lung metastasis and sex.4.Multivariate analysis: TCM treatment(P<0.01),older age(P=0.025),more times of chemotherapy(P<0.01)and no liver metastasis(P=0.008)are protective factors for survival of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer.Low differentiation(P<0.01),non-adenocarcinoma(P<0.01)and the number of metastatic sites(P<0.01)are risk factorsConclusion: 1.Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy can prolong the survival time of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer.2.Single factor analysis suggested that TCM treatment, age grouping, degree of differentiation, pathological nature, liver metastasis, the number of metastatic parts, the number of chemotherapy, and the cumulative time of TCM treatment had an effect on the survival time of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer.but tumor site, the beginning time of TCM treatment, lung metastasis and sex had no effect.3.Multivariate analysis indicated that TCM treatment, age, chemotherapy times and no liver metastasis were protective factors for survival of patients with stage ? colorectal cancer.Low differentiation,non-adenocarcinoma and the number of metastatic sites are risk factors.
