BackgroundHemophilia is a rare disease characterized by coagulation disorder. The main feature of hemophilia treatment is long-term factor replacement therapy. In the course of treatment, depression and anxiety of hemophilia patients and their families affect their mental health. There are objective differences in the current status of hemophilia treatment in various parts of China. The depression and anxiety of regional patients and their families need further study.Objective1.To explore the circumstances of depression and anxiety of hemophilia patients and their families in northern Henan.2.To investigate the related factors of depression and anxiety in patients with hemophilia and their families in northern Henan.MethodSelf-measurement scale(SDS),anxiety self-assessment scale(SAS)and psycholo-gical stress self-assessment scale(EAP)were used to investigate the relevant conditions of the subjects.A total of 294 people participated in the questionnaire,46 patients with hemophilia,46 family members of hemophilia patients,51 non-hemophilia patients and151 normal people.51 people answered offline and 243 answered online.293 qualified questionnaires. The higher the score of the scale, the more severe the anxiety and depression.SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used for analysis and p<0.05 had statistical difference.Results1.The incidence of depression in patients with hemophilia:severe depression accounts for 15%,moderate 26%,and mild 39%.2.The incidence of anxiety among patients with hemophilia:severe anxiety accounts for 2%,moderate 11%,and mild 13%.3.EAP pressure self-assessment scale of patients with hemophilia:15%of patients felt extremely severe pressure,2%felt severe pressure,26%felt moderate pressure,24%felt mild pressure, and 33%felt no stress.4.Depression of hemophiliac family members:severe depression accounts for 22%,moderate 37%,and mild 17%.5.The occurrence of anxiety in family members of hemophilia:severe anxiety accounts for 4%,moderate 37%,and mild 11%.6.EAP stress self-assessment scale of family members of hemophilia:20%of patients felt extremely severe pressure,11%felt severe pressure,30%felt moderate pressure,15%felt mild stress, and 24%felt no stress.7.The incidence of depression in patients with hemophilia is significantly different from that in healthy controls(?~2=8.289,p<0.05).8.The incidence of depression in family members of patients with hemophilia is significantly different from that in healthy controls(?~2=5.447,p<0.05).9.The incidence of depression in hemophilia patients is significantly different from that in non-hemophilia patients(?~2=10.880,p<0.05).10.The incidence of depression in patients with hemophilia is not significantly different from that of family members of hemophilia(?~2=0.256,p>0.05).11.The incidence of anxiety in patients with hemophilia is significantly different from that in healthy controls(?~2=3.275,p<0.05).12.The incidence of anxiety among family significantly different from that of patients with hemophilia(?~2=6.571,p<0.05).14.There is no significant difference in the incidence of anxiety between hemophilia patients and non-hemophilia patients(?~2=0.503,p>0.05).15.There is no significant difference in the positive rate of the EAP pressure self-rating scale of hemophilia patients compared with non-hemophilia patients(?~2=0.905,p>0.05).16.Hemophilia patients have no significant difference in the positive rate of the self-assessment scale of hemophiliac family members(?~2=0.858,p>0.05).17.The incidence of depression among the family members of hemophilia has no significant difference between male family members and female(p>0.05).18.The incidence of anxiety among family members of hemophilia has no significant difference between male family members and female(p>0.05).19.There is no significant difference in the positive rate of EAP stress between male and female family members of hemophilia(p>0.05).20.Logostic regression analysis of depression in patients with hemophilia and their families.Age,number of involved joints and place of residence are statistically significant.ConclusionThe sample survey of hemophiliacs and their families in northern Henan showed:1.The incidence of depression of hemophilia patients and their families in Northern Henan was higher than that of healthy people and other hematology inpatients in our center; The degree of depression is related to age, place of residence, and the number of joint involvements.2.The anxiety rate of hemophilia patients and their families in Northern Henan is higher than that of the healthy people in Northern Henan, which is similar to that of other inpatients in hematology department;the anxiety rate of hemophilia family members is higher than that of hemophilia patients;3.There was no significant difference in psychological pressure between hemophilia family members and hemophilia patients
