ObjectiveTo explore the reasonable lower range of right central compartment neck dissection for papillary thyroid Carcinoma.MethodsA retrospective analysis was performed on 74 cases of right central compartment neck dissection in our hospital from October 2018 to October 2019.The anatomical boundary of the surgery was observed, the lymph node pathological results of total and below deep side of the head brachial artery were recorded, and postoperative follow-up.ResultsThe lower range of the right right central compartment neck dissection of this group can be dissected to:the front is the back of the head brachial artery, the back is the anterior vertebral fascia/esophagus,the medial is the trachea, and the outer bottom is right pleural apex(Lung tip). The number of lymph nodes was 5.79 ± 1.03/case Vs 5.24± 1.50/case,compared with the same period last year, and the difference was statistically significant. The average number of metastatic lymph nodes, overall lymph node metastasis rate, and patient metastasis rate were not statistically significant in this group compared with the last year. The proportion of patients with deep lymph node metastasi in the brachial artery was 8.1%(6/74);26 patients showed no abnormalities in the right central region after WBS iodine scanConclusionThe reasonable lower range of the right right central compartment neck dissection procedure should include the deep side of the head and brachial artery, which can reduce the risk of missing metastatic lymph nodes.
