Study On The Optimal Treatment Of Chronic Transit Constipation With Chinese Herbal Medicine High Retention Enema

Objective:To investigate and optimize the treatment plan of chronic transit constipation by Chinese herbal medicine high retention enema combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparations.Based on the research findings,evaluate the curative effect of this study so as to find the advantages of the optimal treatment plan for this disease.Methods:The last 120 patients with chronic transit constipation matched the inclusion criteria were randomly separated into four groups:31 cases in treatment group,30 cases in control group1,27 cases in control group2 and 32 cases in control group3.The treatment group used Tongfu Runchang decoction high retention enema combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparations.Control group1 treated with Tongfu Runchang decoction high retention enema.Control group2 adopt colon hydrotherapy with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparation.Control group3 took polyethylene glycol 4000 powder orally.There were 2 courses of treatment,14 days per course,and one week later another course carried on.Evaluate the curative effect of each group through analyzing its effectiveness,symptom score before and after treatment and safety.Results:All patients were followed-up for one month after treatment.The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.5%,and the total effective rate in control group1,control group2,control group3 were 83.3%,70.4%,62.5%,respectively.The integrals of main symptoms of constipation were no significant in statistics before treatment in each group.Compare the integrals of four main symptoms after treatment:integral comparison of fecal traits:it appeared obvious significant difference when compared treatment group with control group1,control group2,control group3(P=0.005 P=0.000 P=0.000,all P<0.01).Integral comparison of stool d/times:compared treatment group with control group1,control group2,control group3(P=0.001 P=0.015 P=0.005,all P<0.01),it had significant difference.Integral comparison of VAS:compared treatment group with control group1,contro1 group2,contro1 group3(P=0.012 P=0.027 P=0.012,all P<0.05),it was significant in statistics.Integral comparison of defecation time:compared treatment group with control group1,contro1 group2,contro1 group3(P=0.000 P=0.003 P=0.000,all P<0.01),it had significant difference.Integral comparison of four total symptoms:it had significant difference when compared treatment group with control group1,contro1 group2,contro1 group3(P=0.044 P=0.005 P=0.002,all P<0.05).Compare the efficacy of the four groups after treatment:compared the P value of the treatment group with control group1,contro1 group2 and contro1 group3(P=0.015 P=0.000 P=0.000,all P<0.05),and it had statistical significance.Compared the P value of the treatment group with control group 1 with contro1 group2 and contro1 group3(P=0.025 P=0.002,all P<0.05),and it has significant difference.Conclusion:(1)The treatments of Chinese herbal medicine high retention enema combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparation,Chinese herbal medicine high retention enema,colon hydrotherapy combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparation and oral polyethylene glycol 4000 powder can all improve the symptoms of stool induration,fewer defecation times,laborious defecation and so on.And they all have great curative effect on treating STC.Nevertheless,Chinese herbal medicine high retention enema combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparation in aspects of improving its constipation symptoms and total curative effect is superior to the other three treatments.(2)The curative effect of using singly Chinese herbal medicine high retention enema excel than that of colon hydrotherapy combined with oral intestinal micro-ecological preparation and oral polyethylene glycol 4000 powder.(3)The optimization treatment plan has curative effect on the clinical treatment of chronic transit constipation.
