Objective:After tooth extraction, alveolar ridge preservation was performed on the extraction socket.Guided tissue regeneration(GBR)(Bio-Oss?+barrier membrane)was used as a control group,Observe the clinical effects of platelet rich fibrinogen(PRF)combined with Bio-Oss?in alveolar ridge preservation, compare the preservation of alveolar bone height and width, and study the early soft tissue healing and the effects of postoperative pain sensation,Through comparative observation, the application characteristics and application advantages of the two methods were retrospectively analyzed, and provided a reference basis for the alveolar ridge preservation after clinical extraction. Methods:Patients from July 2017 to January 2019 at the Implant Center of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Anhui Medical University due to trauma, periodontal disease, chronic periapical periodontitis and other patients who need to be removed for implant repair treatment.Thirty-six patients were included in this experiment, including 20 males and 16 females, aged 18-65 years..Thirty-six extraction sites were divided into two groups:PRF mixed with Bio-Oss~?group(test group)and Bio-Oss~?alone(control group).Bone dimensional changes in height and width were measured by CBCT before and 6 months after surgery, and early soft tissue healing and postoperative pain sensation were evaluated clinically 1 week after surgery.Statistical analysis of the data was performed using t-test,Mann-Whitney U test and Fisher's exact test. Results:Between the two groups, radiographical and clinical outcome analysis showed difference in bone width(test group-1.09±0.42 mm vs.control group-1.35±0.22mm,z=-2.63,P=0.01<0.05)and postoperative pain sensation(test group 2.39±1.20vs.control group 3.39±1.65,t=-2.083,P=0.045<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in bone height change(test group-1.48±0.40 mm vs.control group-1.49±0.23 mm,z=-1.49,P=0.13>0.05)and soft tissue healing. Conclusion:Through this clinical retrospective experimental study,it was found that the PRF mixed with Bio-Oss?is suitable for the treatment of extraction sockets. The use of the PRF mixed with Bio-Oss?in alveolar preservation can reduce alveolar bone resorption and reduce postoperative pain,it is a safe and effective treatment method for extraction socket.Because this experiment is a retrospective study, the clinical effect and histological analysis of the large sample size of PRF mixed with Bio-Oss?in the extraction socket need further observation.
