Objectives1.To investigate the status of parental stress psychosomatic elasticity and coping styles in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL).2.To explore the influence factors of parental stress resilience and coping style of ALL children.3.To analyze the correlation between parental resilience coping style and parental pressure in ALL children.MethodsThis study is a descriptive study.Questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the parents of 198 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who fulfilled the requirement of the present study in 2 hospitals in changsha, hunan province. The questionnaire included a self-designed questionnaire on general information of parents and children,Parenting Stress Index-Short Form(PSI-SF),Chinese Connor-Davidson Resilience(CD-RISC),Simplified Coping Style Scale(SCSQ).All data analyses were conducted in SPSS 25.Descriptive anaiysis used for general data of children and their parents.Group t-test,univariate repeatedmeasures anaiysis of variance(ANOVA)was used to analyze the factors of resilience, coping style and parenting pressure.Used pearson to analyze the correlation between resilience, coping style and parenting pressure.Results1.ALL children with parental pressure score ranges between 54 ~ 147 points, the average score(101.77 ±19.88)points,parenting stress score high level more than their parents(71.7%),parenting stress scores and each dimension score were higher than healthy children parents, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were differences in gender of parents, per capita monthly income of families, family structure, payment method of medical expenses, and disease course of children, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).2.The scores of mental resilience of the parents of ALL children ranged from 38 to 98,with an average score(57.49 ± 18.98)points.The total score of mental resilience is lower than norm(71.04±11.37)points.There were differences in whether the children's disease course relapsed or not in terms of the average monthly income of the parents' vocational education families, showing statistical significance(P<0.05).3.ALL parents' positive coping style score between 4 ~ 32 points, the average score for each item were(1.54±0.72)points.Negative coping scores ranged from 0 ~22 points, the average score for each item were(2.12±0.67)points.There were differences in the positive coping style in the aspects of occupation, education background, family per capita monthly income, disease severity, and whether the degree of recurrence, which was statistically significant(P< 0.05).negative coping styles in the vocational education family monthly income per capita medical expenses payment has difference, disease severity statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The scores of mental resilience of the parents of ALL children were significantly negatively correlated with the total score of parental pressure and the scores of ALL dimensions(r=-0.649?-0.511?-0.580?-0.468).The positive coping style was negatively correlated with the total score of parental pressure and the scores of ALL dimensions(r=-0.415?-0.389?-0.335?-0.293).The negative coping style was positively correlated with the total score of parental pressure and all dimensions(r=0.401?0.309 0.272?0.367).The positive coping style was positively correlated with the total score of resilience optimism(r=0.198?0.192?0.220),while the negative coping style was negatively correlated with the total score of resilience optimism(r=-0.359?-0.265?-0.305?-0.306).The correlation coefficients of the above two variables were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The parental stress level of ALL children was 71.7% at a high level.Parental gender, family per capita monthly income, family structure, payment method of medical expenses, and course of illness were the main influencing factors of parental pressure.2.Parents of ALL children had low scores in mental resilience.Gender of parents, family income per capita, course of illness were the main influencing factors of mental resilience.3.The coping styles of parents of ALL children were mainly negative coping styles.Occupation, education, family income per capita, severity of the disease, whether the relapse is the main influencing factors for active response.Educational background, per capita monthly income of family are the main influencing factors of negative response.4.There was a negative correlation between parental psychological resilience and parental pressure in ALL children, that is,the lower the psychological resilience, the greater the parental pressure. The positive coping style of parents of ALL children was negatively correlated with parental pressure, the more likely the child is to adopt a positive coping style, the lower the parental pressure.Negative coping style of parents of ALL children is positively correlated with parental pressure, the more inclined to adopt negative coping style, the greater parental pressure of children's parents. The mental resilience of parents of ALL children was positively correlated with positive coping style, and negatively correlated with negative coping style.
