Research On Teaching Improvement Of Career Planning For Nursing Major In Vocational Colleges

With the development of social economy and aging of population in China,the demand of people for nursing services is keeping increasing.The contradiction of insufficient nursing talents is increasingly prominent.The medium-and long-term talent development plan for medicine and health(2011-2020)clearly points out that nursing talents is in short of supply.Nursing has been listed in the national talent training plan and given the key support.The employment situation of nursing students in vocational colleges is relatively good,but most of the teaching of career planning is out of form,unpractical,ineffective,and seriously detached from the goal of talent cultivation imperceptibly.As a result,students generally lack awareness of career planning,and they just know that they will be a nurse in hospital after graduation,but lack of professional knowledge,unstable professional thinking and unclear future career development direction.This research takes the course teaching of "career planning" as the research object of W school nursing specialty,through searching the literature,issuing the questionnaire,conducting personal interview and exploring the actual case and so on,carries on the investigation and the analysis to the career planning teaching of nursing specialty,respectively from the aspects of teaching ideas and objectives,teaching resourcemanagement,teacher guarantee,teaching process,teaching content,teaching evaluation,etc.,analyzes the nursing specialty "career planning" the teaching present situation and the existence question.The research found that the "Career Planning" course of W school nursing specialty has different teaching ideas and goals to meet the needs of nursing majors,and the resources in teaching management are scarce and continuous,lack of continuity,mastery of the characteristics of nursing specialty and the lack of teachers to carry out targeted teaching,lack of practice in the teaching process,teaching content utilitarian,obsolete,inadequate fit with nursing specialty,lack of effective teaching evaluation system etc.Aiming at the current situation and problems of "Career Planning" teaching for nursing specialty in W school,this study puts forward that we should combine the characteristics of nursing specialty,set teaching idea and goal,perfect the teaching management of nursing specialty,enrich teaching resources,strengthen the construction of special teaching staff for nursing specialty,choose the teaching content suitable for nursing specialty to improve teaching methods and means,and adopt incentive teaching Evaluation and so on,promote the improvement and promotion of the teaching process of "career planning" of nursing specialty,further adapt to the current teaching needs,and help guide students to better recognize themselves,understand the employment environment,improve their own employment competitiveness,so as toachieve their own life goals.
