?Purpose?Analyze the cases of intracranial cavernous angioma(ICA)diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the past 3 years, summarize the characteristics of ICA in young people, and analyze the correlate factor of cerebral hemorrhage cases. To improve the understanding of youth ICA and the emphasis on youth ICA,finally provide directions for the prediction of disease progression and the probability of concurrent cerebral hemorrhage, and provide a reference and basis for the treatment choice of youth ICA.?Method?A retrospective analysis of the data of 120 young patients who were diagnosed with intracranial cavernous angioma and were diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)during the period from 2017.01.01 to 2020.01.01,and then describe the characteristics of the cases, including gender, age, the number of lesions, the form and the symptoms of onset, the distribution of lesions, the blood supply vessels in the lesion area, the size of the lesion, and whether the cerebral hemorrhage is concurrently delivered, etc. Then inquiry the relationship between the factors and the probability of concurrent cerebral hemorrhage.?Result?A total of 120 cases of young ICA patients were collected and analyzed,76 were hospitalized and 44 were outpatients.55 cases were complicated by cerebral hemorrhage, accounting for 45.83%of the total cases. There were 57 males and 63 females;the average age was 31.69±8.71 years. There were 10 multiple lesions and 110 single lesions. Most of them are chronic onset, and some are acute or subacute. The symptoms are mainly seizures, headaches, dizziness and focal neurological dysfunction. The lesions were distributed in 102 supratentorial cases and 18 subtentorial cases. There were significantly more supratentorial lesions than subtentorial lesions. There were 65 cases of lesions located in the front circulation blood supply area,16 cases in the posterior circulation blood supply area, and 39 cases in the watershed area. The average size of the lesions was2357.23±112.11mm~3(14.54±8.99mm),the median was 488.80mm~3(11mm),the maximum value was 26721.40mm~3(46mm),and the minimum value was 6.28mm~3(3mm).There were 35 patients with dyslipidemia, including 16 patients with hyperlipidemia and19 patients with low-density lipoprotein, the BMI of inpatients was between 15.57-34.89kg/m~2,with an average value of 21.56±3.94 kg/m~2.The median is 20.79kg/m~2.?Conclusion?There is no significant difference in the incidence of ICA among young men and women.Single lesions are common, and multiple lesions are rare. The lesions are more likely to occur in supratentorial area and a small part are located in the subtentorial area. Most patients have chronic recurrent attacks, some have acute symptoms, and a few have sub-acute attacks.Common clinical manifestations include seizures, headaches, dizziness, and focal neurological dysfunction. The probability of complicated cerebral hemorrhage in patients is about 45.83%.According to statistical analysis, whether the cerebral hemorrhage was complicated is not related to the patient's gender, age, number of lesions, blood lipid,BMI,etc.,and is related to the size of the lesion, the location of the lesion and the blood supply of the area related.
