| Objective To explore the related factors of bone mineral density in male patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and provide some reference for preventing osteoporosis in male patients with T2 DM.Methods 464 male patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to June 2019 were enrolled.DEXA was used to measure the BMD of the left forearm, left femur and lumbar spine(L1~L4).According to the results of BMD,the patients were divided into the normal group(193 cases),the osteopenia group(205cases)and the osteoporosis group(66 cases),the differences in clinical data and biochemical indicators among the groups were compared.Result1.Compared with the normal group and the osteopenia group, the age, disease duration, blood HDL-C and monocyte absolute value(MONO#)in the osteoporosis group were statistically significant,p<0.05;2.Compared with the normal group, the BMI and peripheral blood WBC counts in the osteoporosis group were statistically significant,p<0.05.3.Logistic regression analysis showed that long-term disease, low BMI,smoking index, and high MONO# were risk factors for bone loss in men with type 2 diabetes. Conclusion Long-term disease, low BMI,smoking and micro-inflammation are risk factors for osteoporosis in male T2 DM patients. |
