Objective:The purpose of this study was to explore the symptom experience of gastric cancer patients after surgical treatment, and analyze the intensity and frequency of occurrence. To determine the type of symptom group and its internal composition, and analyze the correlation between the symptom group and the quality of life.To investigate the effect of foot reflexology massage and music therapy on the symptom group and quality of life of patients with gastric cancer. Methods:In this study,96 gastric cancer patients patients with gastric cancer who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected by convenient sampling from January 2019 to December 2019.The frequency and severity of symptoms in 96 patients with gastric cancer after operation were investigated by using the Anderson symptom assessment scale gastric cancer specific module(MDASI-GI)and the quality of life scale for gastric cancer patients(QLICP-ST).The types and composition of symptom groups in patients with gastric cancer after operation were obtained by exploratory factor analysis, and the relationship between symptom groups and quality of life was analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient department.90 patients were divided into control group, foot therapy group and combination group by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, the foot therapy group was massaged on the basis of routine nursing, the combined group was added music therapy on the basis of the foot therapy group.Symptom scores of patients in the three groups were compared 3 days after surgery,7 days after surgery,1 day before discharge, and total quality of life 1 day before discharge.Results:1.The symptoms with high incidence of postoperative gastric cancer were:loss of appetite(100%),change of appetite(100%),doze(98.9%),restlessness of sleep(98.9%),dry mouth(96.7%),pain(96.7%),distress(96.7%)and dysphagia(96.7%).The symptoms with higher score of severity in patients with gastric cancer after operation were as follows: loss of appetite(9.98 ± 0.21),change of appetite(9.97±0.15),dry mouth(8.77±2.06).2.By exploratory factor analysis,5 symptom groups were found in patients with gastric cancer after operation, which were operation related symptom groups(including dysphagia, fatigue, sadness, restlessness of sleep, fullness, shortness of breath),digestive tract symptom groups(including appetite change, loss of appetite),pain related symptom groups(including pain, distress),nerve related symptom groups(including forgetfulness, nausea, numbness)and dry mouth symptoms(including drowsiness and dry mouth).3.The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the other symptom groups and the total score of quality of life in patients with gastric cancer were correlated except for the gastrointestinal symptom group.Among them, the correlation between the total score of operation related symptom group and the total score of quality of life and the dimension of social part was the strongest(r=-0.770,p<0.01,r=-0.619,p<0.001),and the correlation between the pain related symptom group and the dimension of physical part was the strongest(r =-0.379),p < 0.01),dry mouth symptom group had the strongest correlation with symptoms and side effects(r =-0.327,p< 0.01).4.Operation related symptom group: 3 days after intervention, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, and the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant(p < 0.05).7 days after the intervention, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statisticallysignificant, and the difference between the foot therapy group and the combined group was statistically significant(p< 0.001).1 day before discharge, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant, and the difference between the foot therapy group and the combined group was statistically significant(p< 0.001).5.Digestive tract symptom group: 3 days after intervention and 7 days after intervention, there was no significant difference between the three groups(p> 0.05).1 day before discharge, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant, and the difference between the foot therapy group and the combined group was statistically significant(p < 0.001).6.Pain related symptoms: 3 days after the intervention, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant(p< 0.05).7days after the intervention, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant, and the difference between the foot therapy group and the combined group was statistically significant(p < 0.001).1 day before discharge, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant, and the difference between the foot therapy group and the combined group was statistically significant(p < 0.001).7.Dry mouth symptom group: 3 days after intervention, there was no significant difference between the three groups(p > 0.05).7 days after the intervention, the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant(p< 0.001).1 day before discharge, the difference between the control group and the foot therapy group was statistically significant, and the difference between the control group and the combined group was statistically significant(p < 0.001).8.After intervention, there was statistical difference in the total score of qualityof life between the control group and the foot therapy group, the total score of quality of life between the control group and the combined group, and the total score of quality of life between the foot therapy group and the combined group(p < 0.001).Conclusion:1.The patients with gastric cancer experienced many symptoms after operation,of which the incidence of loss of appetite and changes in appetite and the severity of symptoms were the highest, suggesting that we should pay attention to relieving the symptoms of loss of appetite and changes in appetite in clinical nursing practice in the future, which is conducive to the recovery of patients after operation.2.Five symptom groups were formed in patients with gastric cancer after operation, including operation related symptom group, digestive tract symptom group, pain related symptom group, nerve related symptom group and dry mouth symptom group.3.The symptom group of patients with gastric cancer affects their quality of life. Therefore, scientific and effective intervention measures can alleviate the severity of the symptom group, alleviate the pain of patients, and improve the quality of life.4.The severity of each symptom group of patients with gastric cancer will gradually decrease with the passage of time, and the quality of life will gradually increase.5.Foot reflexology and combination therapy can effectively alleviate the severity of operation related symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, pain related symptoms and dry mouth symptoms in patients with gastric cancer after operation, and the effect of combination therapy is better than that of single foot reflexology.6.Foot reflexology and combination therapy can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with gastric cancer from postoperative to discharge, and the combined therapy has a better effect.
