Objective1.TDS-HF was introduced scientifically,and the Chinese Version of the Thirst Distress Scale for patients with Heart Failure(CTDS-HF)was formed through the Chinese program.2.The CTDS-HF was tested in clinical trials to evaluate its reliability and validity and to reflect its applicability in evaluating the thirst level of patients with heart failure.3.Provide HF with reliable thirst assessment tools to accurately assess its thirst level,promote the development of better interventions to improve thirst to improve the quality of nursing services,and prevent adverse consequences.Methods1.Chinese TDS-HF Contact the original author for authorization.Authoritative experts were invited and the TDS-HF scale was translated,reverse-translated and culturally adjusted by Brislin double translator-echo method.To form the CTDS-HF.2.Reliability and validity evaluation of the CTDS-HF The formed CTDS-HF and VAS were used to evaluate the thirst degree of 148 HFpatients(HF patients were selected from three regions,three of which were national heart failure centers).CTDS-HF and VAS were evaluated simultaneously on the 2nd day after admission.The reliability and validity of the scale were tested by analyzing the data obtained.3.Clinical application evaluation of CTDS-HF HF were divided into two groups based on their level of heart function,with 74 people in each group.The CTDS-HF scores of different groups were compared by t test.The value of BNP in HF admission was determined.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted between the BNP value in the patient's admission and CTDS-HF score to determine whether BNP value was correlated with CTDS-HF score.Results1.Sinalization of the scale: CTDS-HF,a Chinese Version of the Thirst Distress Scale forpatients with Heart Failure,was formed through translation,retranslation and cultural adjustment of the TDS-HF scale.2.Validity test of the scale:(1)Content validity: according to the evaluation results of experts on CTDS-HF,the I-CVI of the scale is ? 0.83,and S-CVI = 0.915.(2)Structural validity: the extraction proportion of the common factor variance of each item was >0.4,and factor analysis showed that one common factor was "thirst distress",and the variance contribution rate was 63.194%.(3)Simultaneous validity: the correlation coefficient between CTDS-HF and VAS thirst score was 0.898,which was significantly correlated at a significant level of 0.01.3.Reliability test of the scale:(1)Internal consistency: Cronbach's a coefficient value of the scale is 0.914.(2)Retest reliability: the correlation value between CTDS-HF total score and CTDS-HF retest score is 0.990.4.Item analysis of the scale:(1)Homogeneity: Spearman correlation analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between each item of the scale and the total score of the scale was all around 0.6,between0.690-0.887.The correlation between items is between 0.435 and 0.795.(2)Discrimination: the determination value(t value)of the 8 items of CTDS-HFranged from9.576 to 19.095,all of which were greater than the set value of 3.000 and had statistical significance(P<0.05).5.Clinical application analysis of CTDS-HF:(1)Different heart function CTDS-HF total score difference analysis: the cardiac function grade ? CTDS-HF the mean score of 17.78,cardiac function grade ?CTDS-HF the mean score of 24.04,cardiac function levels ?? above cardiac function.The value of t statistic obtained by t test is-5.498,P<0.05,which is statistically significant.(2)Correlation analysis between the measured value of BNP and the total score of CTDS-HF:the correlation value between the variable "total score of CTDS-HF" and "measured value ofadmission BNP" was 0.795,showing a significant positive correlation at a significance level of 0.01.Conclusions1.The Chinese version of CTDS-HF for heart failure,thirst and pain scale is scientific and reliable.2.CTDS-HF has good reliability and validity,high reliability and stability,and meets metrological standards.The article is concise and easy to understand,and it can better evaluate the multiple dimensions of HF thirst.It is feasible to apply it to HF patients in the context of China's national conditions and culture.3.CTDS-HF can indirectly reflect the level of cardiac function and severity of HF patients,which has good clinical application value.
