Objective To investigate the expression of centromere protein K(CENP-K)in colorectal tissues and the relationship between the expression of Cenp-k and colorectal cancer, analyze the relationship between cenp-k expression and the clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer, and the effect of cenp-k on the prognosis of colorectal cancer patients, than explore the clinical significance of cenp-k in colorectal cancer.Methods(1)Patients who underwent surgical treatment at the affiliated hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from 2013 to 2014 were collected. All of them were diagnosed with colorectal cancer by the Department of Pathology according to the WHO pathological diagnostic criteria,a total of 73 colorectal cancer specimens, including 41 males and 32 females, aged 40-80 years, with an average age of 59.61 years. The control group selected the normal tissues of the patients who underwent surgical treatment for colorectal tumors at thesametime, and the control group were 30 cases in total.(2)immunohistochemical s-p method was used to detect cenp-k expression in colorectal tissue samples of the tumor group and non-tumor group;(3)follow-up of colorectal cancer patients in the experimental group;(4)statistical analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship and correlation between the expression level of cenp-k in colorectal tumor tissues and non-tumor tissues thanthe relationship between the expression of cenpk and the clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer was analyzed.Results(1)The positive expression rate of CENP-K in colorectal cancer tissues was 73.3%,which was significantly higher than that of the normal control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);(2)CENP-K in different clinical and pathological characteristics in different genders There were no statistically significant differences in positive rates among colorectal cancer patients at the age, age, and location of the cancer(P>0.05).(3)The positive rate of CENP-K in colorectal tumor patients between the high, medium, and poorly differentiated groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).The results showedthat the expression of CENP-K in the poorly differentiated group was higher than that in the moderately and highly differentiated group.CENP-K expression is more pronounced in poorly differentiated colorectal cancer tissues.(4)The expression of CENP-K in colorectal cancer patients with different TNM stages was statistically significant(P <0.05),and the expression of CENP-K in stage Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ colorectal cancer tissues was higher than that in stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ.(5)The 3-year survival rate of the CENP-K high expression group was 40.0%,the 3-year survival rate of the low expression group was 93.5%,the 5-year survival rate of the high expression group was 24.0%,and the 5-year survival rate of the low expression group was 58.1% The survival rate of patients with high expression of CENP-K at 3 and 5 years after operation was lower than that of patients with low expression of CENP-K.Conclusion CENP-K is highly expressed in human colorectal cancer, and CENP-K is closely related to the degree of tumor differentiation,TNM stage, and the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis;the higher the expression level, the higher the malignancy of colorectal tumors The expression of CENP-K in tumor tissues with a corresponding later stage is higher;and the expression of CENP-K is higher in cases with lymph node metastasis than in cases without metastasis;CENP-K assessment of the condition of colorectal cancer patients And prognosis is of great significance.
