Objective Explore the diagnostic value of current perception threshold in type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods A total of 124 inpatients with type 2 diabetes were selected from the Department of Endocrinology,Central Hospital of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Central Hospital from December 2018 to August 2019.Collect the current threshold perception of all patients and the test results of the toronto clinical scoring system. The test results divided the enrolled patients into four groups, namely, the abnormal CPT and TCSS groups, the normal CPT and TCSS groups, the CPT abnormal group, the TCSS abnormal group, and compared the general conditions of patients and the differences in biochemical index test results.Results(1)There were 36 patients(29.03%)in the abnormal CPT group,5 patients(4.03%)in the abnormal TCSS group,44 patients(35.48%)in the abnormal CPT and TCSS group, and 39 patients(31.45%)in the normal CPT and TCSS group.(2)There were 80 patients with abnormal CPT(64.52%),49 patients with abnormal TCSS(39.52%),the abnormal rate of CPT is higher than the abnormal rate of TCSS,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);the consistency is acceptable(K = 0.476).The sensitivity of CPT is 89.80%,and the specificity is 52.00%.(3)There were 33 symptomatic patients. In the symptomatic subgroup, the abnormal rate of CPT was 32/33 = 96.97%,and the abnormal rate of TCSS was 29/33 = 87.88%,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There were 91 patients in the asymptomatic group. In the asymptomatic group, the abnormal rate of CPT was 48/91 = 52.75%,and the abnormal rate of TCSS was 20/91 = 21.98%.The difference between the two was statistically significant(P<0.05);the consistency is acceptable(K = 0.232).(4)In the subgroup of CPT abnormal group, there were 42 cases of hypersensitivity and 38 cases of hypoesthesia. In patients with hypersensitivity, the abnormal rate of TCSS is 7/42 = 16.67%;in the subgroup of hypoesthesia, the abnormal rate of TCSS is 18/38 = 47.37%,the difference between the two is statistically significant(P<0.05);the consistency Acceptable(K = 0.312).(5)There were no statistically significant differences in gender,smoking,TC,TG,HDL-C,fasting C-peptide,OGTT 2h blood glucose between the four groups(P>0.05);age,duration,BMI,LDL-C,HbA1 c,FBG,2hC The peptides were statistically different(P<0.05).Conclusion(1)CPT can evaluate the functional state of peripheral sensory nerves in T2 DM patients. It has high sensitivity. It can detect the DPN in asymptomatic and hypersensitive stage, and can effectively detect the patients in the early stage of the disease.(2)The risk factors of DPN may include increasing age, long course of disease, increased FBG,increased HbA1 c,increased BMI,increased LDL-C,and decreased C peptide.(3)CPT may play a guiding role in the prevention and treatment of DPN.
