| Objective To investigate the expression of CRYAB protein in pancreatic cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and to retrospectively analyze its relationship with the clinicopathological features of pancreatic cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of CRYAB protein in 63 pathologically confirmed pancreatic cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and the relationship between the expression of CRYAB protein and the clinicopathological characteristics of pancreatic cancer was analyzed by single-factor retrospective case method, and at the same time the expression of CRYAB in pancreatic cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of 18 cases were detected by Western blot. Results IHC results showed that the high expression rate of CRYAB protein in pancreatic cancer tissues(76.2%,48/63)was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(39.7%,25/63),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Single-factor retrospective case analysis showed that the high expression of CRYAB protein was closely related to the degree of tissue differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer.Western blot results showed that the expression of CRYAB protein in pancreatic cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CRYAB protein is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer tissues, and the high expression of CRYAB protein is closely related to the degree of tissue differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer. The high expression of CRYAB may play an important role in the occurrence and development of pancreatic cancer, and it is also correlated with the invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer.CRYAB may be a potential therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer and a risk factor to evaluate the prognosis of patients. |
