ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of needle warming moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)retention enema on the sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease(SPID)of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Methods70 patients with SPID of qi stagnation and blood stasis type were randomly divided into two groups,35 in each group. The clinical changes of the patients before and after treatment were observed and recorded, and the clinical symptoms were followed up for one month.Results1.Before the treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in ages, course of diseases among the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparison of efficacy:the comprehensive efficacy of the two groups after the treatment were compared, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The combined curative effect of needle warming moxibustion and TCM retention enema group was better than that of Chinese medicine retention enema group. There were statistically significant differences in the efficacy of TCM syndromes and local signs between the two groups(P<0.05),and the efficacy of TCM and local signs of Needle Warming Moxibustion and TCM retention enema group were better than that of TCM retention enema group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of cases of pelvic effusion between the two groups(P >0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome points:the comparison of TCM syndrome points between the two groups after treatment and one month after drug withdrawal was statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences of TCM syndrome points between the two groups after treatment and after drug withdrawal were statistically significant(P<0.05),among which, the improvement of TCM syndrome points in needle Warming Moxibustion and TCM retention enema group were better than that of TCM retention enema group.4.Comparison of VAS score of pelvic pain:VAS score of pelvic pain in the two groups after the treatment and 1 month after drug withdrawal was compared with that before the treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS scores of pelvic pain in the two groups after the treatment and 1 month after drug withdrawal showed statistically significant differences(P < 0.05),among which Needle Warming Moxibustion and TCM retention enema group was more effective in alleviating pelvic pain in patients.5.Comparison of local signs scores: the scores of local signs in the two groups after treatment and 1 month after drug withdrawal were compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment and 1 month after drug withdrawal showed, the differences inlocal physical signs between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Two groups 1 month after drug withdrawal.6.Safety test: In the course of treatment, there were no adverse reactions such as dizziness, headache, local muscle spasm, and no adverse events such as syncope, broken needle, hematoma, drug allergy and scald.ConclusionNeedle warming moxibustion combined with TCM retention enema can improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease with qi stagnation and blood stasis, and it is safe to use.
