Objective To understand the correlation between the degree, location and duration of hydrocephalus in the inner ear of meniere's disease patients and their corresponding hearing loss by inner ear contrast imaging technology. Methods A total of 72 patients diagnosed with meniere's disease who visited our department from 2010 to 2017 were selected as the research objects. All patients underwent pure tone audiometry and gadolinium contrast examination in the inner ear,i.e.,injection of a diluted 8-fold contrast agent of gadolinium spray glucomide in the drum chamber, and underwent 3d rapid liquid attenuation reversal recovery mri scan in the inner ear 24 h later.Different edema sites of the external lymphatic space were scored and grouped according to the scores. They were divided into four groups: cochlear hydrops group(only cochlear score < 6),vestibular hydrops group(only vestibular score < 6),semicircular canal hydrops group(only semicircular canal score < 6),total labyrinthine hydrops group(cochlear, vestibular and semicircular canal score < 6),cochlear + vestibular group(cochlear and vestibular score < 6),cochlear + semicircular canal group(both cochlear and semicircular canal score < 6),vestibular + semicircular canal group(both cochlear and semicircular canal score <(The vestibular and semicircular canals were all less than 6 points).According to the clinical stages of Meniere's disease, the patients were divided into group A(stage I and II)and group B(stage III and stage IV),The correlation between the location of hydrops and the degree of hearing loss, the degree of hydrops and the degree of hearing loss, and the duration of PTA and Meniere's disease were analyzed to evaluate the effect of the duration of the disease on the above results. Results In the above cases,71 patients were radiographically positive, with a total of 74 ears. The patients were divided into 8 ears in the vestibular group,15 ears in the cochlea + vestibular group,2 ears in the cochlea + semicircular canal group,5 ears in the vestibular + semicircular canal group, and 44 ears in the total labyrinth hydrops group according to the hydrops score. There were significant differences in the degree of hearing loss among different parts of hydrops. The degree of hearing loss was significantly correlated with the score of hydrops in the inner ear, that is,the lower the score of the inner ear,the more serious the degree of hearing loss. There was no significant correlation between the degree of hearing loss and the duration of the disease.
