| Objective:In this experiment, psyllium husks dietary fiber was used to treat chronic constipation in women of childbearing age.Observation was made on the improvement of constipation symptoms before and after treatment, and changes in fecal flora before and after treatment.Methods:(1)From May 2019 to October 2019,30 female with chronic constipation in childbearing age were recruited in Bethune Hospital Affiliated to Shanxi Medical University, and all were treated with psyllium husks dietary fiber for 1 month.Record the improvement of constipation symptoms and the occurrence of adverse reactions before and after treatment;(2)Retain fresh fecal samples of patients before and after treatment, and use 16 S rDNA sequencing to detect the intestinal flora of the two groups of self-control samples before and after treatment. Results:Women with chronic constipation at childbearing age who had been treated withpsyllium husk dietary fiber increased the number of bowel movements, and the laborious bowel movements and feelings of bowel movements were significantly reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant change in the clinical indicators of patients before and after treatment(P>0.05).The levels of clostridiles, clostridia, and Ruminococcaceae in the intestinal flora after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.05);Enterobacteriaceae(Enterbacteriaceae),Bacteroides-Bacteroides-vugatus levels were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion :Women with chronic constipation of childbearing age have more frequent bowel movements after comprehensive treatment with psyllium husk dietary fiber as the main method. The symptoms of constipation are more obviously better than before. The intestinal flora structure change proves that the psyllium husk can not only be used as a volumetric laxative to improve the symptoms of constipation, but also has the potential of prebiotics, which can play a role in regulating the intestinal flora disorder in patients with constipation.Psyllium husk dietary fiber may improve the constipation symptoms of female with chronic constipation in childbearing age by regulating intestinal flora. |
