Objective:The purpose of this study was to detect the expression of CD133 and Musashi-1protein in Endometrial adenocarcinoma(EAC)and normal endometrial tissue, and to analysis the relationship between the two proteins and clinical parameters of EAC.Explore the role of the two in the development of EAC.Methods:A total of 82 paraffin specimens of endometrial pathological tissues were collected from the gynecology department of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2017 to July 2019,including 62 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma and 20cases of normal endometrial tissue. All cases had complete clinical data and clear pathological diagnosis. The expression of CD133 and Musashi-1 protein in endometrial tissues of two groups were detected by immunohistochemical method, and their relationship with different clinical pathological parameters of EAC was analyzed. The correlation between the expression of the two proteins in EAC tissue was explored.Results:1.The expression of CD133 protein in endometrioid adenocarcinoma is significantly higher than that in normal proliferative endometrium. The difference between the two groups is statistically significant(c~2=15.922,P=0.000).2.The expression of Musashi-1 protein in endometrioid adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal proliferative endometrium. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(c~2=25.058,P=0.000).3.The expression of CD133 protein in endometrioid adenocarcinoma was related to different FIGO stage, histological grade, myometrial invasion depth, and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05),but not significantly related to body mass index, whether the patient was menopausal, and whether it was accompanied by diabetes.4.The expression of Musashi-1 protein in endometrioid adenocarcinoma was related to different histological grade, myometrial invasion depth(P<0.05),but not significantly related to FIGO stage, lymphatic metastasis, body mass index, whether the patient was menopausal, and whether it was accompanied by diabetes.5.The expressions of CD133 and Musashi-1 were positively correlated in endometrioid adenocarcinoma(r=0.363,p=0.003).Conclusion:1.CD133 is highly expressed in endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues and is related to different FIGO stage, histological grade, depth of muscular invasion and lymph node metastasis status, suggesting that CD133 may play an important role in the development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.2.Musashi-1 is highly expressed in endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues and is related to different histological grade and myometrial invasion depth, suggesting that Musashi-1 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of endometrioid adenocarcinoma.3.The expressions of CD133 and Musashi-1 in endometrioid adenocarcinoma are positively correlated, suggesting that there may be an internal relationship between the two,and the expression of CD133 and Musashi-1 in endometrial cancer tissues can help predict the biological behavior of tumors.
