Objective: Explore the relationship between the changes of the color ultrasound image of the mammary mass and the results of BI-RADS classification and pathological diagnosis of breast masses after operation. Methods: From January 2013 to October 2017,70 cases of breast masses were examined by Cancer Hospital,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Hefei and the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. The typical sonographic features of breast masses were summarized, and the ultrasound BI-RADS grading was carried out to find out the pathological diagnosis results of breast masses and the relationship between them. The important value of color Doppler ultrasound and BI-RADS grading in the differential diagnosis of breast masses was confirmed. Results: In this study,70 cases of breast masses were detected by ultrasonography, including 34 cases of invasive ductal carcinoma,8 cases of ductal carcinoma in situ,4 cases of ductal papillary carcinoma,13 cases of adenosis of breast,8 cases of breast fibroma, and 3 cases of breast cyst.According to the ultrasonographic findings of breast masses,43 cases of breast cancer were initially diagnosed by ultrasonography.Compared with pathological findings, the coincidence rate of breast cancer was 93%.Ultrasound BI-RADS grading of breast masses in 23 cases, including 22 cases of breast cancer pathological diagnosis, positive predictive value as high as 96%.13 cases of 4c grade.Postoperative pathology confirmed 11 cases of breast cancer, positive predictive value of 85%,10 cases of 4b grade, positive predictive value of 50%,17 cases of 4a grade, positive predictive value of 35%,7 cases of 3 grade, positive predictive value of 29%.Conclusion: The BI-RADS classification of breast ultrasound is of great value in the diagnosis of breast mass, and the typical sonographic features are well correlated with the pathological features of breast.
