Clinical Analysis Of 30 Cases With Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Objective:The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the clinical features,treatment regimen of patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura(TTP),and by analyzing the prognosis to improve the ability of TTP diagnosis and treatment.Methods:We selected 30 patients with TTP enrolled in our hospital from April 2012 to December 2018.The data of clinical manifestations,main laboratory examinations,and major treatment regimen were retrospectively collected to analyze the prognosis.Results:There were 14 males and 16 females out of 30 patients.The age of them ranged from 20 to 78 years old,with an average age of 51.33±14.88 years old.There were 17 cases with triad(57%),11 cases with pentad(37%),2 cases exacerbation,2 cases recurrence,1 case refractory,16 cases death(53%),24 cases performed plasma exchange(80%).There was statistically significant difference in mortality between the plasma exchange group and the non-plasma exchange group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in mortality between the number of plasma exchange less than or equal to 4 times and the number of plasma exchange more than 4 times(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in hemoglobin,platelet and lactate dehydrogenase values after plasma exchange(P<0.05).Conclusion:The diagnosis of TTP based on typical clinical manifestations and necessary laboratory examination.Plasma exchange can significantly reduce the mortality in patients with TTP,and suspected patients should be treated as early as possible.
