Correlation Analysis Of ESS Score Combined With Sleep Monitoring On Endocrine And Metabolic Indexes In Adult Patients With OSAHS

OBJECTIVE: ESS score combined with polysomnography was used to evaluate the correlation between the severity of sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome and the patient's blood glucose,lipid profile and thyroid function.METHODS: 1.From June 2015 to June 2019,401 patients in the inpatient and outpatient department of Ningxia medical university general hospital with strict sleep room follow-up were selected to be included in the study.The selected patients received ESS score and polysomnography monitoring in the sleep respiration monitoring room.According to the diagnostic criteria of OSAHS,it was divided into OSAHS group and non-osahs group.According to apnea-hypopnea index(AHI),OSAHS can be divided into mild OSAHS group,moderate OSAHS group and severe OSAHS group.2.neck circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,Sp O2,fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood lipid(TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C)and thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH)of the 4 groups were compared,and the correlation between AHI,LSp O2,ESS scores and blood glucose,blood lipid,and thyroid function was analyzed.RESULTS: 1.The proportion of men,age,BMI,diabetes and hypertension in OSAHS group were all higher than those in non-osahs group(P<0.05).2.Compared with the non-osahs group,the scores of neck circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,FBG,TG,TC,LDL-C,FT3,TSH and ESS in the OSAHS group increased,while those of HDL-C,lowest Sp O2 and average Sp O2 decreased(P<0.05);AHI was negatively correlated with HDL-C,and positively correlated with cervical circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,FBG,LDL-C,TSH,TG,TC(P<0.05);LSp O2 was negatively correlated with neck circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,TG,TC,LDL-C and TSH,and positively correlated with HDL-C(P<0.05);ESS score was negatively correlated with HDL-C and positively correlated with neck circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,FBG,TG,FT4,and LDL-C(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:1.OSAHS has a great influence on the metabolic indexes of blood glucose,blood lipid and thyroid function,and the more serious OSAHS is,the more significant the changes of blood glucose,blood lipid and other indexes are.2.AHI,LSp O2 and ESS scores were correlated with neck circumference,abdominal circumference,BMI,FBG,HDL-C,LDL-C,FT4,TSH,TG and TC.
