In recent years,methylmalonic acidemia,as a rare disease,has gradually attracted the world’s attention.Due to the characteristics of this disease,such as easy to be misdiagnosed,difficult to cure,high treatment cost and limited purchase of drugs,it leads to heavy negative pressure on the sick family.Chronic child care and rising medical costs put this particular family in a difficult position,and the interplay of old and new conditions can accelerate the deterioration of their lives.With the increasingly prominent harm caused by this congenital disease to the family and society,it is in urgent need of support and assistance from all walks of life,and the active intervention of social work is an indispensable resource.On the basis of social support theory and social learning theory,this study carried out a research on practical intervention of family social work in children with methylmalonic acidemia,taking seven families of children with methylmalonic acidemia in jilin province as the research object,deeply analyzing the causes of their life difficulties,and then using the social work group model to provide intervention services.This paper aims at effectively improving the quality of life of the service subjects,and provides support from both spiritual and material levels to help the families of children with methylmalonic acidemia out of difficulties by carrying out targeted group activities to supplement resources.At last,the service evaluation indicates that the research on social work practice has achieved remarkable results,and the quality of life of the seven team members has been effectively improved.Summary at the end of the article,analyzes the shortcomings in the course of the study,but also put forward some Suggestions,such as increasing the social work intervention methyl malonic acid hematic disease children family services,accelerating the construction of the related social workers echelon personnel training speed,further promote the policies related to the social security system,etc.The purpose of this study is to explore a feasible intervention model of social work group for families of children with methylmalondialemia,which is expected to provide reference for other social workers to carry out similar services.
