Objective:To investigate the prevalence, awareness, treatment, control and risk factors of hypertension in the elderly natural population in Mulei County,Xinjiang. Methods:In April 2018,3421 cases?1612 men,1809 women,1722 6069 years old,1541 7079 years old and 158?80 years old?of hypertension were selected by using the method of stratified random sampling.According to the definition of hypertension in China's hypertension prevention and control guidelines?2018 Revision?[1],the participants were divided into 1695 cases in hypertension group and1726 cases in normal blood pressure group. The blood pressure, height and weight of the selected subjects were measured, the related laboratory indexes were detected, and the risk factors of hypertension were analyzed by logistic regression. Results:Compared with the normal blood pressure group, age?age?,body mass index?BMI?,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol?LDL-C?,creatinine?CR?,alanine aminotransferase?ALT?,smoking and the proportion of diabetes were significantly increased, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol?HDL-C?was significantly reduced?P<0.01?.The prevalence, awareness, treatment and control rates of hypertension were 49.5%,46.1%,12.4%and 3.2%respectively.The prevalence and awareness rate of hypertension in men were higher than that in women?50.0%vs 49.1%,46.8%vs 45.4%?,and the treatment and control rate of hypertension was lower than that in women?10.8%vs 13.8%,3.2%vs 3.3%?.There was no significant difference?P>0.05?.The prevalence of hypertension was 46.9%,51.8%and 56.3%in 6069,7079 and?80 years old respectively. The prevalence of hypertension increased significantly with age?P<0.01?.Logistic regression analysis showed that age,BMI and LDL-C increased,HDL-C decreased the risk of hypertension?P<0.01?.Conclusion:1.The prevalence of hypertension in the elderly natural population in Mulei County is high, and the awareness rate, treatment rate and control rate are low.2.Age,BMI,LDL-C and HDL-C were the risk factors of hypertension.
