Clinical Analysis Of Comparing CEA And CAS To Curing Carotid Stenosis Of Short-term Prognosis

Objective: To compare the safety and effectiveness of carotid endarterectomy and carotid artery stenting implantation for carotid stenosis,summarize the perioperative complications,and propose corresponding preventive measures for the operation of carotid stenosis.Treatment provides reliable evidence.Methods: The clinical data of 82 patients with carotid stenosis admitted to Tianjin Huanhu hospital from September 2018 to April 2019 and planned to undergo CEA or CAS surgery were collected,including history of hypertension,history of diabetes,history of coronary heart disease,history of stroke,history of smoking,Surgical situation,hospitalization information,etc.,were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different surgical methods,32 cases were divided into CEA group and 50 cases in CAS group,and the safety and effectiveness of the two were compared.Results: The incidence of carotid sinus reactions in the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).The other complications were not significantly different(P> 0.05).The total perioperative complications in the CAS group Compared with the CEA group,the operation time and length of stay in the CEA group were longer than those in the CAS group,and the hospitalization costs were lower than those in the CAS group.The differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);The score(Table MMSE)was lower than the CAS group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The incidence of stroke was higher than that in the CAS group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative restenosis rate and CT perfusion between the two(P> 0.05).Conclusion: CEA and CAS are safe and effective for carotid stenosis and there is no significant difference between the two.There is no significant difference in the restenosis rate after CEA and CAS.The operation time and length of hospital stay in the CEA group are longer than those in the CAS group,and the cost of hospitalization is significantly lower than in the CAS group.The incidence of stroke in CEA group was higher than that in the CAS group.But the cognitive function in CEA group was lower than that in the CAS.The surgical method should be selected in accordance with the situation of the patient.
