| Objective:To investigate the present situation of hypertension in the fourth to sixth grade pupils in Changling County,Songyuan City,Jilin Province, and analyze the influencing factors of the present situation of hypertension in primary school students,so as to provide a theoretical basis for formulating the prevention and treatment measures of hypertension in children. Methods:In June 2018,two primary schools in Changling County,Songyuan City,Jilin Province were selected by convenient sampling, and then all students from grade four to grade six were selected by cluster sampling for investigation. After eliminating the invalid questionnaires,651 children were selected as the research objects. The study includes two parts:physical examination and questionnaire survey. The data were collected and analyzed by SPSS24.0 statistical software.Quantitative data conforming to normal distribution were described by mean±standard deviation(`x±s),qualitative data were described by composition ratio or rate(%),and cross group comparison by chi square test.Using binary logistic regression to analyze the influencing factors,P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.A total of 651 primary school students were included, including 104 primary school students(16.0%),47 boys(15.4%)and 57 girls(16.5%).14 pupils(2.2%)had systolic hypertension,61 pupils(9.4%)had diastolic hypertension and 29 pupils(4.4%)had complex hypertension.2.The prevalence of hypertension was 14.4%in children under 11 years old,12.1%in children between 11 and 12 years old,17.6%in children between 12 and 13years old and 23.9%in children over 13 years old.3.Univariate analysis results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the prevalence rates of the prehypertension among primary students of primary caregiver(c2=6.183),different family relationship(c2=8.058)、BMI(c2=11.885)and WC(c2_=10.079).After adjusting for gender and age, multivariate binary logistic regression analysis results showed that obesity(OR=2.288,95%CI=1.333-3.927)and family relationship(general)(OR=1.968,95%CI=1.175-3.296)were risk factors for pediatric hypertension.Conclusions:1.The prevalence of hypertension in grade four to grade six primary school students is at a high level, and the ratio of three subtypes of hypertension is from high to low, which are simple diastolic hypertension, complex hypertension and simple systolic hypertension.2.With the increase of age,the prevalence of hypertension in children shows a trend of decreasing first and then increasing. The age group with the highest prevalence is 13 years old or above, and the age group with the lowest prevalence is11-12 years old.3.Obesity and family relationship are independent risk factors of hypertension in children. |
