Objective:Cancer-related fatigue is one of the accompanying symptoms that widely exist in cancer patients in clinical practice. It has a profound impact on the life status of patients and the treatment of cancer, and threatens the life safety of patients. It has a rapid onset, severe degree, and long survival time, and its intervention means are limited and its effect is poor in clinical practice.Through continuous clinical observation,it is found that the patients with Spleen-Qi Deficiency account for a large proportion in patients with cancer-related fatigue. The acupuncture method of Long Sha open and close axis is created by disciples of Long Sha School according to Professor Gu Zhishan's theory of "Long Sha open and close axis of three yin and three yang".This study is to observe the effect of acupuncture on the symptoms of Spleen-Qi deficiency, fatigue and functional status in patients with cancer-related fatigue,so as to provide support for the treatment of cancer-related fatigue with acupuncture. Methods:A total of 60 patients with cancer related fatigue of Spleen-Qi Deficiency were enrolled in the oncology clinic and ward of Wuqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)affiliated to Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the randomized control method, the patients were divided into trial groups and control groups, each group of 30 cases. The control group was given routine treatment. The trial groups was given routine treatment and acupuncture treatment of Long Sha open and close axis at the same time. The acupuncture needles were left for 30 minutes, once a day,for a continuous intervention for 1week,the observation period was 1 week. The scores of Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of Spleen-Qi Deficiency,MFI-20 and ECOG were evaluated before acupuncture treatment, after the first acupuncture treatment and after 1 week of acupuncture treatment.Hemoglobin was measured before acupuncture treatment and after 1 week of acupuncture treatment to evaluate its efficacy and correlation. At the same time, the ECOG,liver and renal function of patients before and after treatment were observed as safety indicators and adverse reactions were recorded. Finally,a database was established. The conclusion is based on the statistical analysis of SPSS20.0.Results:1.A total of 60 patients with cancer related fatigue of Spleen-Qi Deficiency who visited the oncology clinic and ward of Wuqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2019 to February 2020 were collected.Among them,2 persons dropped out from the trial group and 2 persons dropped out from the control group,56 persons were included in the analysis.2.The difference between sex, age, heart rate, blood pressure, tumor classification, tumor stage of the two groups was no statistical difference(P>0.05).3.Observation indicators: In terms of TCM syndrome scores of Spleen-Qi Deficiency, after intervention, there was a statistical obvious difference in scores between the two groups(P<0.05).The effective rate was 71.42% in the test group and 32.14% in the control group. The test group had an efficiency better than the control group(P<0.05).In the MFI-20 score, and in the after the intervention, statistical significance in fatigue degree and score between the two groups(P < 0.05),the test group had an efficiency better than the control group(P <0.05).In terms of ECOG score, after intervention, there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no obvious difference between the control group(P >0.05),the test group had an efficiency better than the control group(P<0.05).No difference between the two groups before and after the intervention of hemoglobin(P>0.05).4.Safety: There was no significant difference in safety index before and after intervention(P>0.05).No adverse events occurred in both groups.Conclusion:1.The acupuncture treatment of Long Sha open and close axis can effectively reduce the spleen deficiency symptoms of cancer patients with Spleen-Qi Deficiency due to fatigue.2.The acupuncture treatment of Long Sha open and close axis can effectively improve the degree of fatigue in cancer patients with Spleen-Qi Deficiency due to fatigue.3.The acupuncture treatment of Long Sha open and close axis can effectively improve physical strength of cancer-related fatigue patients with Spleen-Qi deficiency type.4.It is safe to treat with the acupuncture treatment of Long Sha open and close axis which is beneficial to practice and promotion in clinical practice.
