Interpretation Of FeiXiaotong's Cultural Consciousness

In his later years,with thinking to the subject of "cultural consciousness" Fei Xiaotong,on the one hand,intends to do a summary,reflection and criticism towards his academic activities,on the other hand he also responds actively to the hot issues of era displaying an intellectual's responsibility.After the Second World War,the peace and development have become the theme of the world,but the regional conflict and the local war have not been interrupted.The law of the jungle like the invisible hand is still operating and controlling the international politics and the development,some developed country or nation started penetration against the small or hostile countries from the economic and cultural fields,which triggered a series of confrontation and accommodation problems among different regional cultures and national cultures,but also highlighted the importance of "cultural consciousness".From a certain view,only under the basic premise of "cultural consciousness" could people in different regions,the countries and the nations carry out equality,freedom,peace and multilateral cultural exchanges,minimize the cultural conflict and antagonism and fulfill the sustainable development in all countries,regions and ethnic groups.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:the first chapter is going to make the illustration of the purpose and significance of the research topic,research status and research methods concisely.The second chapter is going to elaborate the background of Fei Xiaotong' s cultural consciousness theory,that is,the economic globalization and cultural globalization;it also will explain the evolution process of the cultural consciousness theory.The third chapter will focus on the main content of Fei Xiaotong's cultural consciousness theory,which explains the basic connotation of the cultural consciousness;the starting point of cultural consciousness theory,namely the understanding of their own culture;the key of cultural consciousness theory,namely the understanding of other cultures;the purpose of cultural consciousness theory,namely the world harmony and the modern Chinese culture;the way to cultural consciousness.The fourth chapter will give a brief comment on the significance and influence of Fei Xiaotong's cultural consciousness theory.The sixth chapter wil do a summary of the full text.
