Francis Hutcheson is widely known as a philosopher,esthetician and ethicist in early eighteenth century in England.This thesis starts with the historical relationship between Hutcheson's theory of beauty and the ideas of virtue,and luxury conspicuous consumption.The analysis of Hutcheson's perspective of conspicuous consumption is based on the interpretation of the internal sense or the moral sense of beauty in Hutcheson's aesthetic theory.The reformation in economics,society,politics and religion is profoundly impacted the life of the contemporary philosophers.So the perspective of conspicuous consumption became the key point of the research on the moral and aesthetic study.
