A Romanian translator of the Chinese Poetry once said "that from reading the Chinese lyrics, we can enjoy a world which is no doubt full of charm, lyricism and extensiveness, where it is filled with the aroma of flowers." The Chinese lyrics are the crystallization of the ancient culture and civilization of three thousand years of Chinese history. Culture has no national boundaries, the beauty of Chinese lyrics is that they should be shown to people all over the world, therefore Chinese lyrics should be translated. However, translation is difficult, especially the translation of Chinese lyrics.Chinese lyrics are the essence of Chinese. How to completely reproduce the lasting appeal of Chinese lyrics puts forward a great test for the translation of Chinese lyrics. The emergence and development of the translation aesthetics, provides an excellent platform and basis for poetry translation. Aesthetics studies people’s feeling about beauty and aesthetics translation is the combination of aesthetics and translation. Poetry translation, using another language reproducing the beauty of the original poetry, is the process of aesthetic experience and aesthetic reproduction and finally Aesthetic reproduction is the necessary step and the ultimate goal of aesthetic activity. In this dissertation, with "literature survey" and "method of exemplification analysis", as the research methods, the author firstly gives an overview of the emergence and development of the translation aesthetic theory both at home and abroad. Then the author analyses three versions of three translators of Sushi’s works----Tune:"Charm of a Maiden Singer "--Memories of the Past at Red Cliff, and Li Qingzhao’s works----Tune:Slow, slow song. However, the author feels that judging from the translation aesthetics perspective, Professor Xu is superior to the others. Therefore, the author selects Professor Xu’s translation works:Tune:"Charm of a Maiden Singer"--Memories of the Past at Red Cliff, Tune:Dance of the Cavalry, Tune:Slow, slow song and Tune:Watching the Tidal Bore as case studies. According to the translation aesthetics theory, there are three angles:beauty in sound, beauty in form and beauty in the sense. To analyze the translation of two different types of lyrics, we must utilize the analysis, we can learn that, in order to obtain an excellent English translation of Song lyric, we must focus on the translation aesthetics theory and the beauty of the translation of Song lyric should be reflected on the vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence styles as well as the aesthetic subject (the translator) who should have a good literary training.
