In 1960 s,Lenneberg,a psychological linguistics,proposes the theory of "Critical Period Hypothesis" in second language acquisition.He points out that there is a critical period of language development in children.The critical period for the development of children is very important for the acquisition of the second language.However,in the traditional primary school teaching process,the single learning mode and mechanical learning make the study of the word boring,which greatly hamper the enthusiasm and initiative of the students.With the rapid development of information technology,microlessons as a supplement and expansion of traditional curriculum resources is also playing an increasingly important role in subject teaching.This study aims to explore the words in the form of micro-lessons presented to the students,hoping to help primary school English word teaching for the front-line teachers to provide some reference.In this study,the third grade of Peili Primary School in Gansu Province was taken as the research object.The author combs the status quo of the development of micro-lessons both at home and abroad through the method of literature research,and establishes the concept and corresponding theoretical foundation of the micro-lessons.Secondly,through the questionnaires and interviews the current situation of word learning about research object and the demand of micro-lessons are analyzed.Based on the above analysis,the design of micro-lessons based on primary school English word is completed.On the basis of the design,combined with the teaching content of the specific case design is also completed.Through the experimental study of the experimental group and the control group by using micro-lessons,the questionnaires and interviews are used to analyze the effect of statistical analysis,and finally the conclusion,prospect and deficiency of this research are drawn.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is composed of the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research status,purpose,significance and content;in the literature review,the necessity of the research status of micro lesson and micro class application in English Teaching are described,so as to obtain the demand of micro-lessons in English teaching.The second chapter defines the concept and theoretical basis;based on the above analysis,the concept and theoretical basis of this study are defined.On the basis of the above theory,combined with the current situation the third chapter combs the design principle of primary English word micro-lessons.Through the analysis of the needs,the design process of elementary English words' microlessons is completed.The fourth chapter is composed of the case design and implementation;on the basis of the above design the design of specific cases are completed;and the specific case is applied to the actual teaching process through the experimental research method by using questionnaire,classroom feedback and word achievement test and other methods to collect data,and get the final results of the analysis.The fifth chapter concludes the conclusion,prospect and limitations.
