English reading,as an important part of English teaching in primary school,is the foundation for cultivating students' comprehensive language ability and language skills.With the advent of the “micro” era under the background of “Internet+ education”,micro-lecture has become an inevitable trend for the teaching model of the teachers and the innovation of the teaching method.At the same time,the English curriculum standard for the primary school also advocates to utilize various information technology as well as teaching resources to facilitate English teaching while improving students' learning efficiency.Micro-lecture,as a new type of teaching resource and teaching method,designing and developing micro-lecture resources,and implementing them into the primary school English reading teaching is the necessary way to optimize the traditional class teaching,improve students' learning interest and reading ability.The analysis of the promotion effect of micro-lecture on English teaching in primary school is based on the literature review and application results of micro-lecture at home and abroad.It is found that there exists the following questions in primary school English reading teaching: the teaching model in the class is unitary,the skills to the reading methods are not systematic,the teaching resources in the class are not very targeted,the feedback and judgement in the teaching process is insufficient,the individualized teaching is difficult to carry out for the teachers,these factors influence students' reading interest and reading ability to further development through the investigation and analysis of the English learning situation in the experimental primary school which is affiliated to Huaibei Normal University.Whether the micro-lecture can improve students' learning effect or not is the focus of micro-lecture teaching in terms of the definition and understanding of the micro-lecture in the study,the cases of the micro-lecture are applied to the actual class teaching to testify the results of the micro-lecture teaching.First of all,by the survey of the students' questionnaire and the interview of the teachers on the current situation of the primary school English reading teaching,the paper demonstrates the demand of traditional English reading teaching for micro-lecture.Then,according to the designing principles and procedures of the micro-lecture,on the basis of the universal ADDIE model in the designing of the micro-lecture teaching,the paper implementsthe micro-lecture cases to the English reading teaching practice in Grade Four.Finally,the paper uses the following methods to testify the effect of the experiment which is based on the practice of the micro-lecture teaching,comparing the change of the students' reading scores as well as students' reading interest and attitude before and after the micro-lecture teaching,analyzing the students' questionnaire survey about the results of micro-lecture teaching and the teachers' feedback about the suggestions of the micro-lecture teaching.It's summed up that the micro-lecture teaching has a promoting effect on developing students' English reading ability,motivating students' reading interest,improving the teaching efficiency and teaching effect of the teachers.In the meantime,the paper puts forward some limitations and reflections in the research,prospecting and predicting the future of the micro-lecture teaching.
