John Hick is one of the most influential religious philosophers of the day.He argues that it is the existence of this ambivalence from the religious ambiguity of the universe that makes people's understanding of the world in a naturalistic way and religion The reality of people in the religion is not equal to the reality itself, although people continue to know, but there is always between themselves and the knowledge of the cognitive distance, people can not really understand the reality itself,Hick uses Kant's philosophical view, and puts forward the "ultimate reality" according to the "object itself",which distinguishes the ultimate reality itself and the ultimate reality that people know, because different religious traditions have different cultural and historical conditions,so people according to their own Religious experience to understand the ultimate reality, but the ultimate real phenomenon, rather than its own.Different religions are constrained by factors such as their own history and culture, and are different from those of the ultimate reality, resulting in the divine and non-degenerate absoluters, but the major religions are identical in salvation and are salvation or liberation The way to achieve human survival from the self to the center of reality, which in theory for the major religions are equal to provide a basis for breaking the Christian centralism and religious independence.Hick's religious pluralism requires dialogue between major traditions, clarifying the relationship between forms and contents of religion, overcoming the boundaries of truth between different religions, resolving conflicting views of conflicting truths, seeking common ground while reserving differences, reducing religious disputes,This is the need for the development of the times is inevitable.
