In this paper,according to the author from the east thousand-buddha second copy on the spot inspection of grotto murals,mainly to the east thousand-buddha preliminary study conducted by image configuration of grotto murals and statues.South east thousand-buddha grottoes in gansu province is located in the melon ZiXiang states bridge at the northern foot of 35 kilometers long dashanzi ancient river,is an important part of dunhuang grottoes group,the tantric Buddhism paintings more can make up for the shortage of moga,yulin grotto,the grottoes as part of the xixia late paintings represent one of wat.Wat indoor painted with exquisite frescoes,not only has important artistic value,more has the important historical and cultural value,is the study of xixia society,religious culture to draw lessons from to absorb the important documents of the national culture,especially in the xixia information lack today,has inestimable value.This article from the following three aspects to analyze east thousand-buddha second grotto fresco art research.First,from the perspective of history,using a large number of literature,of xixia mural art and east thousand-buddha wat a brief analysis of the two.Second,according to the unearthed literature,on the basis of existing research by using the method of image study of east thousand-buddha second grotto murals configuration and statues were preliminary analyzed.Third,through inductive analysis of the existing data,the east thousand-buddha wat grotto shape and mural style origin and its influence on the later preliminarily explored.
