Social Capital And The Development Of Traditional Folk Culture In The Transition Period

With the gradual transformation of our country from the traditional agricultural society to the modern industrial society,people's production and way of life have undergone tremendous changes.The social environment on which the traditional folk culture relies has also experienced profound changes.In particular,since the reform and opening up,Western modernism and postmodernism brought about by the aesthetic value of folk culture will be squeezed to the edge of aesthetic taste,leading to traditional folk culture away from the people's lives,its development suffered an overall decline in the embarrassing situation.Some of the traditional folk cultural varieties are facing the demise of some folk culture,and it is the main body of the marginalization and aging,some folk arts and crafts stunt because of the older generation of artists had been lost.However,during the social transition,there are some traditional folk culture not only did not decline,but has been developed by leaps and bounds.Therefore,this article mainly focuses on the traditional folk culture which has been developed during the period of social transformation.Through the traditional folk culture of Juxian Guomenjian,this paper tries to use the theory of social capital to make an in-depth empirical study on the Juxian Guomenjian in Shandong Province,Through the description of Juxian Guomenjian in the social transformation of the various social capital under the operation of the development process once again presented,and further analysis of the macro-social structure under the constraints of Juxian Guomenjian,with the development of the path,to find out the right Revelation of Inheritance and Development of Traditional Folk Culture Protection.According to the definition of cognitive social capital and structural social capital in Norman Ecuhov's theory of social capital:Cognitive social capital mainly refers to the shared norms,values,trust,attitudes and beliefs,such capital is internal,more subjective and difficult to observe,is hidden behind the form of social capital driving force,belonging to social capital Abstract social capital refers to the social network established through rules,procedures and precedents and to determine social roles,to promote the sharing of information,to take collective action and formulate policies forsocial,political,economic and cultural development.Capital is an external and observable part.Therefore,on the basis of the concept of cognitive and structural social capital,the concept of social capital in traditional folk culture is defined as follows:in the development of traditional folk culture,folk cultural production,consumption,dissemination of historical traditions,folk beliefs,values and local cultural identity,that is knowledge of social capital;and contribute to folk culture production,consumption,development and dissemination of various social networks,namely structured society capital.In this paper,the study of Shandong Juxian Guomenjian over the gate of the case,the cognitive type of social capital mainly exists in the local people on the JuxianGuomenjian gate held by the common belief in the cultural identity,this cultural identityto enhance the Juxian Guomenjian in the development of the key.The structure of social capital is mainly manifested in the operation of various social relations networks,that is the production network and various publicity network,through the continuous allocation of various social resources,the available resources to gather up to promote the Juxian Guomenjian in the transition period of continuous development.Finally,through the operation of these two kinds of social capital,Juxian has made a certain effect in the development of the prose,in the promotion of folk culture and art elite at the same time as Juxian customs culture unique cultural capital,economic capital and symbol Capital production provides a superior condition.Therefore,during the period of social transformation,Juxian has not only formed the unique artistic style of the local,but also became the cultural symbol representing the local local culture,which makes the culture and prosperity of Juxian Guomenjian.In summary,it can be seen that the social network of cultural identity and structuralsocial capital as a cognitive social capital can promote the inheritance and development of traditional folk culture.
