Myth is a collective dream.Myth is an open dream,a dream is a private myth.The world described in the myth is full of novelty and imagination,and the collective dream can reflect the reality of life and people's minds at that time."The fabled toad in the moon and the three legged crow in the sun." Three legged crow is what kind of bird?What does it do with the sun?By collecting and combing the relevant evidences,solve a series of questions,to explore the archetype of the three legged crow.Firstly,is this bird a crow?Secondly,what's the relationship between the "three legged crow" and"Yatagarasu"?What are the meanings of "three" and "eight"?Three,the "three legged crow" is referred to?Or is it a unique supernatural bird?Many questions this article will unlock one by one,resulting from the function of the worship of the sun,to the primitive thinking and direct senses with the sun and birds flying,this series of"superposition of dreams" produced by the process of thinking,myth,and temporal flow.Finding the relationship between the sun and the bird totemism by comparing the myth archetype and the main characters in the myth,making the time sequence spread vertically combing myths,finally obtains the origin of the myth of the image of the three legged crow.Which will refer to the existing living folk phenomenon,making the evidence that how the sun and the birds myth combined and produce "three legged crow"——the image of myth more clear.
