Explorer Of Folk Literature Of Minority

Mr.Li Zixian has devoted his whole life to the study on folk literature of minority in Southwest China,especially on living myth of minority with remarkable achievements.He has insisted on field investigation of myths of minority for 55 years,discovering and presenting the realm of myth in Yunnan which has not yet collapsed.On that basis,a unique"living myth" theoretical and methodological system is constructed,formed,developed and improved through deep study.He proposes four existence modes of living myth creatively,discusses the connection between living myth and its existing cultural&ecological system,and then conducts comparative study from an international perspective between living myth of Yunnan minority and that of Taiwan,Japan,South Korea,Southeast Asia and other places,to research the generality and individuality and their reasons.Mr.Li reads widely,has broad academic vision,and can conduct interdisciplinary studies on study subjects with methods combining cultural anthropology,ethnology,folkloristics,religious studies and mythology,etc.The first introduction to folk literature of minority in China is mainly written by Mr,Li,who carries out study on folk literature from the perspective of national culture,forms a study vision and academic thinking with deep global and holistic view,makes rational reflection on current problems in the field of national and folk literature,and points out new study direction.Mr.Li is also paid great attention to the modertn adaptation of the culture in minority areas,and putting them into practice while pursuing academic study.Meanwhile,Mr.Li centering on Yunnan University,plans and chairs many international academic meetings,exerting positive influence on international and domestic scholars and pushing the academic exchange and construction in the field of folk culture and folk literature study.This paper mainly focuses on the follow aspects,namely resources and achievements,approaches and methods as well as status and influence of Mr.Li's academic study,trying to sort out his study achievements,study characteristics,study thinking,study methods,academic influence and personality.Dominated by description,combining description and comments and supplemented by oral history interview,this paper tries to show profound and extensive academic accomplishment of Mr.Li,his academic feelings with which he strives to enrich people,and his charming personality.
