The "YuLanPen Festival" folk activity is a ritual activity which is used for local people to pray for the blessing of the "Holy King".This ancient folk activity was held three times of ten years.It is worth mentioned that "YuLanPen Festival" was listed in the first national nonmaterial cultural heritage lists of FuJian Province in 2005.Moreover,this activity has a long history which is a typical miniature of the Long Yan’s multi-historical culture.Besides,"Bamboo lamp" is one of the most important activities which constitute the historical picture of "Bon Festival" combined with other forms such as incantation,sacrifice,song.This activity become the cultural symbol which is utilized to transfer information in the hole middle area of LongYan.So far,however,there was no research about the "Bomboo lamp" in "YuLanPen Festival" activity has been found.In this thesis,it applies many theories such as dance ecology,dance morphology theory,folklore,anthropology and combined literature induction,dynamic analysis,cultural interpretation and other methods to study the "Bon"folk activities in the "bamboo horse Lamp".It analyzes the" bamboo lamp "dance performances and morphological characteristics under the context of Longyan’s own history and culture.The thesis would try to reveal the role of "bamboo lamp" dance in the" Bon "folk activities as well as the cultural connotation and value of the dance.
