The Research On "Shuoyuan" And "Xinxu"

In the literary works of the Han dynasty,"Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu" are two works that are quite story-like and interesting.They were compiled by Liu Xiang to exhort the king to be excogitated.As a book with a very strong purpose,Liu Xiang's political ideas expressed in the "Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu",as well as the compilation and narrative methods he used,are all unique.This article is based on the text of two books,intended to analyze the characteristics and values of the two books in the ideology and literature.The introduction part introduces the origin of the topic and the current research status,and the research focus and research methods of this paper.The first chapter combines the political career of Liu Xiang and the background of the era at that time to interpret the main motives for compiling the "Shuoyuan"and "Xinxu",so as to dig out the political thoughts reflected in Liu Xiang's two books.This article mainly analyzes Liu Xiang's political thoughts in the two books from both personal and social perspectives.He believes that the unique self-cultivation outlook of the two books and the view of the monarch and the court from the perspective of harmony reflect that the "Shuoyuan" and "The Xinxu" to society at that time Responsibility and love.In addition,this article also focuses on the cultural inheritance in two books.It is believed that while relying on Confucianism,the two books integrates 100 academics to construct an ideological and theoretical system that is both inclusive and practical.In the second chapter,the author discusses the characteristics of the compilation and the narrative methods of "Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu".In terms of editing and compiling the characters,both "Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu" follow the compiling style of"Comprehensive by Class".From the aspect of narrative mode,"Shuoyuan" is devoted to talking about politics and adhering to "admonishment".The purpose is to help politics for its creative concept;"Xinxu" is a historical story series with irony as its political purpose.Both books display the characteristics of ordering and destiny on the internal structure.The theme of "Shuoyuan" is clear,the hierarchy is clear,and the use of novel artistic techniques focuses on the integrity and tortuousness of the storyline,pursuing the combination of historical reality and artistic reality.The"Xinxu" summarizes the theme of the book;it is used to explain classics,meaning is meaningful,commenting on characters,narrative events,and doping fables.It is easy to understand.The third chapter elaborates the linguistic features of "Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu".It mainly discusses from three aspects:narrative language,character language and comment language.The narrative language is mainly written,and a variety of narrative modes coexist.Characters' language features are mainly personalization,colloquialization,and popularization.Comment language is characterized by fewer,more prominent,and positive and negative combinations.The fourth chapter elaborates on the literary value of "Shuoyuan" and "Xinxu".These two literary works not only inherited and developed the literature of the previous classics,but also believed that the two books have certain value in the preservation of documents and have also resulted in the development of Chinese novels.Far-reaching influence's are mainly manifested in the development of the concept of "fiction" style,improving the literary nature of the novel,developing novel artistic techniques,and influencing later generations of literary works.On the whole,Liu Xiang has a strong sub-characteristic and historical fictional character in these two books,with the characteristics of transitional literature,in which the stylistic features of the sub-books dominate.From the perspective of the history of fiction development,the "Xinxu" and "Shuoyuan" have played an important role and significance in the history of the development of ancient Chinese fiction.It is a rare classic in the early stages of the formation of ancient Chinese fiction.
