Mo Yan is a writer with a strong consciousness of narration, and he also pays great attention to innovation in narrative time. However,in comparison with Mo Yan's own efforts, the research on Mo Yan's narrative time in academic circles is still somewhat insufficient. This article tries to start from the reading experience and learn from the three basic concepts of "order","duration" and "frequency" in Classical Narratology, and examines the narrative time in Mo Yan's novels as a basic of writing, trying to tease out Mo Yan's commonly used narrative techniques. This thesis also tries to categorize and classify the narrative mode of Mo Yan's novels from the perspective of "narrative time",nd to find out the "Mo Yan Style" expressed in the narrative time in Mo Yan's novels. The full text is divided into three chapters:The first chapter begins with the "order" of the narrative time of novels, and sorts out the three types of structures that Mo Yan often uses in the sequence of novels. The first is a time-series pattern in which subjective emotions drive the free movement of time, which is embodied in the two following forms:the "epistolary" novel and the"reverse structure";the second is the "non-temporal" writing that separates the story from the time; The third are the linear narration with rich historiographical character. The second chapter analyzes two main characteristics of the narrative rhythm of Mo Yan's novels from the perspective of "duration" of the narrative time.First, the strong subjectivity and subjective colors cause the "delayed" duration effect in the novels, which makes them feel for the characters.Inserting and decorating brings enough space to create the narrative feature of "feeling";second,it combines the"overview" and "scene" with "delay" to form a change in narrative rhythm. The third chapter begins with the "frequency" of the narrative time of novels, and explores the multiple narrative problems and their values in Mo Yan's novels.Firstly, the repeated narration of various styles within the text and the repeated narrative between the text and the subtext expands the meaning-space of the novel.Secondly, the recurring imagery between the text and the text forms a distinct "Mo Yan Style" with unique aesthetic effects. The continuous repetition of the narrative discourse within the text enhances the effects of social critique or builds a unique emotional atmosphere.
