"The close reading of the text" originated in the semantics of an important subject field in the 20 th century Western literary theory,and later became a most basic and important text interpretation method in the "New Criticism" school of British and American.Although this method of text interpretation is marked by the British and American "new criticism" schools,it is not exclusive,but it is emphasized by many contemporary literary schools.Since Roland Barthe's foothold in the field of literary theory,scholars have conducted many in-depth studies of his contributions to structuralist semiotics,narratology,post-structuralism,and deconstruction theory,but have ignored his unique achievements in perusing the law.His book "S/Z" is a successful practice of textual reading.This article takes Roland Barthes' s "S/Z" as the research object,and focuses on analyzing the concrete methods of the textual reading method used in it,and points out its uniqueness.At the same time,he combined with many influences of Saussure structuralism,phenomenology,hermeneutics,mythology,and semiotics that he received,as well as his theoretical positions and methods,from structuralism,post-structuralism,to deconstruction.Investigate how rhetoric,psychoanalytics,and narratology are integrated into Barthes' s close reading and Barth have produced new hermeneutic significance.From all the above studies,we finally explored,combed,and presented the logical level and operation steps of Barthes' s close reading method,as well as the various achievements that can be used for current literary research and teaching learning,thereby highlighting the value and significance of the textual reading methods for literary research and teaching cannot be ignored.
