Classic literature is originated in Europe in the seventeenth century and it's a literary faction which takes ancient Greek and Roman literature as models and takes "imitation theory" as the core.Its emphasis on reason,advocating that art comes from life and nature.It is neither an endless imagination nor just a copy,but a reasonable and restrained reproduction.However,the classic literatue that grow up in different cultural soils is undoubtedly infiltrated the traditional cultural features of this country.And it becomes an important part of continuation of the lifeline of traditional culture.With the development of globalization and the assimilation of all countries,the classic literature takes on the responsibility of safeguarding the characteristics of its own literature and developing its cultural personality.Junichiro Tanizaki is one of the most important writers in the history of modern Japanese literature.His masterpiece "Snow" and " In Praise of Shadows" has described Japan's classical aesthetic style and played an important role in spreading the classical beauty of Japan..Liang Shiqiu is a famous modern writer in China.His series of prose writings represented by “Ya She's Essays” contain rich Chinese traditional cultural connotations and make important contributions to the development of Chinese classicism.This article is divided into four parts,comparing the similarities and differences of the respective classicism literature of Tanizaki Junichiro and Liang Shiqiu.The first part introduces the content of the classicism and the formation of the classic literature view of the two writers.The second part,using textual reading,analyzes the characteristic similarities and differences of the classicism embodied in the works of the two writers in detail.The third part looks at how two writers were got influence on the culture from the West and its neighboring country and how to maintain the traditional characteristics of the country.The fourth part combs the position in the literary history of two writers.And influence of there works in the social culture.
