The term"art direction"appeared late in our country,which began in 1998 with the"National piano art direction seminar."^?1?,which explicitly proposed the name of piano accompaniment as art direction.Art direction as a part of the piano professional,in the west has a history of more than hundred years of development,but in domestic still belongs to the primary stage of development,a lot of people don't have enough understanding of the professional art direction,narrow stopped in the piano accompaniment.Based on the professional quality of a qualified art director,the author makes a preliminary exploration.Expounds the cognition to the concept of art direction and his important role in music works,enumerates the literacy,language ability,harmony analysis ability,sight-reading ability,artistic imagination,emotional impetus,playing the strain capacity of these basic quality,technology and stage for the professional art direction to find a relatively accurate role,has been clear about the art direction and the essential difference between the piano,let the reader to have a more clear understanding,can help to seek a more perfect and reasonable development way,has a certain theoretical significance and practical significance.
