On The National Identity Of Intellectuals In Enemy-occupied Area During The Anti-Japanese War

National identity is the highest level of individuals to identify themselves in the space-time dimension,is also the source of legitimacy for the continuous development of national political power.As the predominant power of national development in modern and contemporary China,national identity of intellectuals is the decisive power for remodeling belief and restructuring regime.In the modern history of China,the anti-Japanese war(AJW)is the last battle of the Chinese nation to get rid of humiliation and move toward independence,is also a crucial period of the intellectuals to develop a modern state and rebuild their national identity.In this thesis,we focus on the intellectuals in the enemy-occupied areas during the AJW.With the method of combining history and theory,we investigate the issue of their national identity from five aspects.By studying the similarities of intellectuals in enemy-occupied areas with historical data and literature analysis,we summarize the characteristics of intellectuals and build the interpretation path of their national identity.For the intellectuals in the enemy-occupied area,we research the internal evolution logic of their national identity,explore the internal and external causes and historical significance,clarified the internal discipline and external values.These results may provide guidance for contemporary intellectuals achieving their national identity value.The first part of this thesis mainly introduces the research background,significance and purpose,the current researches at home and abroad,the definition of the research object,theoretical basements,research ideas and method,and the key difficulties and innovations.Thesecond part gives an overview of the related issues of the intellectuals in the enemy-occupied area during the AJW.Based on the analysis of the related concepts,we systematically study the group characteristics of the intellectuals and divide the interpretation path of their national identity by using national identity theory.In the third part,after consulting a large number of literatures,we fully investigate mental and behavioral evolution process of national identity of intellectuals in the enemy-occupied area by longitudinally analyzing cultural identity,ethnic identity,and political identity and their dominated national identity evolution process.In the fourth part,we explore the deep reasons for the national identity evolution of the intellectuals in enemy-occupied areas by studying the inner tension of morality and the realistic social influence at home and abroad.In the fifth part,we investigate the social impact of national identity evolution,and extract the inherent value of modeling national identity.In the sixth part,the historical reflection on the evolution of national identity of the intellectuals in the enemy-occupied area during the AJW.We have that in the organic unity of cultural identity,ethnic identity,and political identity,the national identity of the intellectuals in enemy-occupied areas was divided in the evolution during the AJW.The evolution in differentiation was the essential process of screening advanced intellectuals.It is useful for our party to guide the national intellectuals correctly and play its role to provide guidences in the promotion of national identity.The seventh part,we summarize all points of this thesis.In a word,study of the national identity of the intellectuals in the enemy-occupied areas during the AJW is not only beneficial to social history academic research but also conducive to guide intellectuals to play their leading role in promoting national identity.Especially in the era of identity crisis and personal identity diversification,it is extremely important to improve our national identity.Only by shaping a good external environment and strengthening the Party's correctly guiding toward patriotic spirit,innovation,and responsibility awareness of contemporary intellectuals,will it be conducive to the formation of a sustained impetus for the development of national identity and enhancement of the national identity of contemporary Chinese people.
