A Research On Graphic Creative Design And Application Of Shaanxi Shadow

With continuous development of Internet technologies and closed international cultural exchanges,modern design styles have also tended to follow foreign design styles.Under the influence of foreign cultures,people's attention to Chinese traditional culture has been reduced,and understanding to their own culture is gradually omitted,though the real design should be based on traditional culture.Essence of Chinese civilization shall be used on modern design.The shadow play as one of traditional art has gradually faded out of public view in recent years.The shadow play contains many patterns and special aesthetic charms.It has a great influence on modern art design.We should regain this traditional culture and put it back to stage.This paper starts from the traditional culture elements of Shaanxi Shadow Play and explains the development status,art sectors and production techniques of shadow play.The influence of shadow play on modern graphic creativity is analyzed from the art expressions and cultural connotations of Shaanxi Shadow Play.Through the analysis of the shadow figure model,head shape and pattern,the element symbols of Shaanxi Shadow were extracted,and the specific use of lines and colors in the shadow pattern was further discussed.The aim of redesign is to develop this art to become a graphic creative symbol and finally applied in contemporary design works.The purpose is to achieve the aesthetic appreciation,promotion,and dissemination of traditional culture through the application design of modern graphic ideas.It is not only a good inheritance of traditional art,but also makes the modern design elements more diversified.At the same time,i also hope to reflect the combination of shadow and modern design,and reflect the cultural characteristics and artistic charm of shadow play with personal insights and design thinking to inherit traditional culture.
