In recent years,with the continuous rise of the Chinese language fever in the world,especially under the One Belt and One Road policy,the demand for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language has been increasing.Each year,Hanban will send thousands of novice Chinese language teachers overseas.Most of them are zero-experience students and teachers.Their attention and research directly concern the promotion of Chinese education.In the past,most of the studies on foreign language Chinese teachers were comparative studies.The conclusions of the research were mostly compared with veteran teachers.Moreover,the target of novice teachers studied is mostly Chinese teachers for Chinese as a foreign language.There is not enough attention to overseas novice teachers.In particular,the composition and dynamic development of practical knowledge of overseas novice teachers has not attracted the attention of the academic community.This article will focus on this research.The practical knowledge of teachers is one of the important topics in the professional development of teachers.The practical knowledge of teachers is the knowledge formed by teachers in their own educational practice that they know what to do and how to do it in a special situation.They usually use silence.The form exists,is attached to the teacher's practice activity,and is intertwined with the practice situation.The teacher is difficult to express in words or even unconscious.The practical knowledge is the knowledge that the teacher truly believes in and applies,and can solve practical problems.At present,many scholars have studied the practical knowledge of novice teachers in the domestic education sector,the psychology community,and the English teaching profession,but there are relatively few studies on the practical knowledge of foreign language teachers.At present,research methods are still not diversified.Based on this,this article adopts the method of narrative research in pedagogy.Through the narrative of the research object,it reproduces the life history in the form of stories and uses the method of entering the scene,collecting data,and completing the report.Through the story,analyze the nature or significance of various experience and practice for beginners of Chinese as a foreign language,and then analyze the construction and development of practical knowledge for foreign teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in order to provide training for future foreign language teachers.The self-development of teachers and the study of practical knowledge of international Chinese teachers have certain guiding significance.
